Used for pegboard display, worked great
We have purchased these twice for a stand up peg board. They are a great product, easy to use and they close well. The hinge works great and doesn't damage the board when closing, like some other products. The size is a little short, I would like it to be longer, but it functions well. Overall, I would purchase this again if I needed to.

Easy to install, a little pricey but worth it. They are very stabilizing and will last a long time!

Perfect for an old steamer trunk turned into a toy box
I have a small humpback old steamer trunk that I’ve used for games and now toys for the grandkids. The problem was if the lid slammed shut it could really hurt little fingers and if they were not delicate the lid would slot back and bang against the wall. I purchased these hinges to hold the lid up and allow the littles to close the lid slowly when getting out or putting up toys. The trunk lid was a little too heavy to just use one of the hinges I had to use both. There were no instructions that came so I looked at the pictures online but the hinges need to be flipped 180 between the left and the right side otherwise the barrel piece scrapes against the side of the trunk.

Does what it says it does
I have had these for about a year now and they still were holding up strong. If I ever need to build anything, I would use these hinges again.

Perfect for my project
These hinges worked great for my project. They snap into place with a positive feeling. I have not noticed any quality issues with them. One thing I would say is just check which direction the hinges will fold when you use them for your own project. When the bracket is extended, you can see in the picture that the middle hinge "sticks up" a bit.
