Westcott 2 Titanium Bonded Scissors and 2 Ceramic Utility Cutters, 4-Pack

I love these ceramic knives, and the scissors are nice, too. They are functional, and seem (hopefully!) safer to use around my curious children. Of course I’m still careful, but I like the ceramic more than metal blades. For opening boxes, these work just as well as the metal ones, and don’t rust.

The scissors cut well. The box cutters work excellent for cutting cardboard packaging, I use them instead of scissors now.

Like the free box cutters. Careful, the ceramic blade is sharp! The scissors are very sharp too. Cuts paper like butter. Not sure if titanium coating will help these to last longer or not. Only used them a couple times so far.

I had a pair of Westcott Titanium scissors and apparently they have become somewhat dulled from overuse because these are really sharp. My old ones are still good but I’m super surprised at the difference with the new ones. I shouldn’t have written a review of the cutters without trying them a few times. In the beginning I thought by the blade not staying out it would be a problem but it really isn’t. I can also adjust how much I want that blade to come out. Sometimes when opening packages, I don’t want to open the blade all the way because I don’t want cut into the product. This is the perfect tool for that. It doesn’t cause cramping holding it open because it’s sharp and it opens on the first run. Also, I have peripheral neuropathy in my hands. I can use this just fine.

De scharen zijn vlijmscherp! In vergelijking met mijn oude schaar, dag en nacht verschil! De set is top, want ik heb nu overal in huis wel iets liggen om een pakje mee te openen!

The scissors ate excellent. The ceramic utility cutters are the difficult to use.
