We bought this because we have a very low ceiling so needed a barn door track that required little space. Additionally it is so well designed and modern looking....it fits the bill for us. Then there is the support ....we had questions on install that were very quickly answeered. We accidently left the install instructions in a hardware store and Junest sent us a PDF within hours of asking. So very impressed !!!!

Nice Barn door track

Works well. Instructions a little incomplete, but can be figured out. Quality looks good. Should use S2 screws instead of Phillips. Less chance of stripping out when driving in a blind situation. No instructions for attaching to a frame wall. Track was a little tight in one end when installing the stop plug.

3-15&16-25 This arrives well packaged to prevent any damage during it's travels, and all the smaller components are individually boxed. Installation is simple if all your wall studs happen to be 16" on center and you have an existing doorway. If your studs aren't perfectly spaced, you could always drill and chamfer holes where needed through the aluminum track The instructions are mostly illustrations you'll need to study and grasp what is needed. If you're already familiar with hanging barn door tracks it's easier to figure out. I originally purchased to use with a wider door and we have low ceilings even though they are vaulted or sloped. I ended up using it with a narrower 24" door and built out a new doorway. If you want to use this with a 24" door, (which will be the narrowest this can accommodate). Know you will have to mount the hanger brackets with the round ends hanging roughly 1/4" inch past the edges of the door. This would be better for doors 26" and upto 36" wide. Either way I was able to make it work with my wood and glass door. For reference in the video, I mocked up the track and door before cutting out and framing the doorway. The noise you hear is the bottom edge of the door rubbing against the floor guide which I installed too close to the door slab. Otherwise it's almost silent assuming you have tightened the nuts and backed the bolts down far enough to allow for a tiny amount of clearance so it doesn't rub the aluminum track. Overall I'm quite pleased with it. The track and cover are made out of extruded aluminum, while the soft open/close carriers are made of plastic and metal. The end caps and floor guides are plastic. If you don't care for the frosted aluminum color, it could easily be spray painted before installation, or even brushed or rolled after installation. The best features for me are not only having a low profile design which accommodates low ceilings well, but also the soft open/close so no matter how hard someone pushes the door it won't allow it to slam to the end. Works but is very noisy . Sounds just like a regular barn door rail A little disappointed that these nylon wheels with bearings are this noisy . If you can deal with the sound , it provides a cleaner look . Install is very easy .
