Great trap!!!
Great trap. Very easy to setup and very effective for chipmunks. Peanut butter and seeds work very well. Caught rodents within 2 days.

Fantastic trap!
Great product, easy to set up, caught 3 mice so far! After reading about best baits we used Snickers pieces! Tried peanut butter first but that didn't work so we added the Snickers. Caught one in each trap the first night and one more the next night. Highly recommend . No kill, just took them to the woods and released them. You won't be disappointed if you use the right bait and it secures the mouse until you are ready to release it. Will continue to use these to avoid more issues in the future. Mice caused a lot of damage under the hood of my Toyota Rav 4. Traps are very well made and will hold up for years. A great purchase!!

Worked better than the cats!
This worked perfectly. I have 4 cats and none of them were able to catch the rat. (lazy house cats). Loaded it up with a little bit of peanut butter coated dog food and within 2 days It caught the rat. Trap 1 cats 0. I was then able to take the rat about 8 miles away and released it in a field with some dog food. I read that if it is release too close that they can return. The trap is a simple design made of a durable metal. It was simple to set up and easy to use. It was really self-explanatory. Just don't put too much food in the bait plate or the rat can get to the food without triggering the trap. I found that out the hard way. The rat would take just a little bit of food at a time and come back. I would watch it on the camera I had set up. Eventually it took enough food that it had to fully stand on the trigger mechanism and trapped it inside. Now in order to catch more you have to put the trap in a different spot. Apparently, rats can sense when another rat has been caught in that spot for a while and will not go there. I moved the trap to a different area nearby and re-baited it. I have had to change the bait several times because it would rot. I have not caught anything else. There have also NOT been any new rat droppings anywhere. Pretty confident that I caught it before it had time to bring its family & friends. Tip: when handling the trap with a rat inside it is a pretty good idea to wear thick leather gloves as the rat will be scared. Overall, it is a good trap for the money, and you get 2 of them.

Great trap, worth the money!
Noticed a rat hole in my yard so I purchased these traps. Super easy to use, caught rats very quickly and easily. My only complaint is one of the rats did chew the corner of the wire mesh on the door. It was the bottom right where the wire mesh attaches to the frame. Broke the weld holding the wire mesh to the frame. It is only an 1-1/2โsquare hole, he couldnโt escape and I fixed it by covering the door with new wire mesh, using washers and self tapping screws to secure it to the frame. Other than the small hole these traps are worth the money and work great.

These traps are great. Faster that bait.
These traps are great. I put them out the same night I received them. The next morning, I had caught two. It was then easy to drive them out to a field and release them. More food for the coyotes. Works great, easy to use, and works fast! I recommend.

Rats love "em!
Great product. A lot of success with Peanut butter and a sprinkle of bird seed INSIDE the trap. Try to eliminate any food source close by and they will work.

Problem solved
Easy to use and work great. I caught two mice in two days.

Good quality, simple and intuitive operation, effective small animal trap
I have a few HavAHart brand small animal traps, which work well but have very sensitive triggers that can make setting up a challenge. I decided to try this other brand and model, and am pleasantly surprised. The mechanism is much less fussy than the HavAHart design, and yet it seems to trigger reliably and the mechanism that locks the animal in is effective. It also has a feature that allows it to be baited and set, them moved to the desired location without fear of false triggering en route, followed by simply moving one end of the trigger wire from its 'safe' position to the 'ready' position. It is possible for the user to leave the 'lock' wire in a position too far forward that might prevent it from working as designed. To alleviate this, I hold the end of the trigger wire and gently move it to an 'almost triggered' position to visualize the beginning of the triggering sequence; if the 'lock' wire starts to move rearwards correctly, then I proceed to move the trigger wire to its 'ready' position with confidence that all will work well (otherwise, if the 'lock wire' moves forwards, I know to move it a bit rearwards and try my test again).I don't do live capture/release, as it is prohibited in my suburban community, and allowable release areas are too far away. I keep a typical 5 gallon plastic paint bucket full of water in the garden shed, and this trap drops down inside the bucket just enough to leave no air gap. 30 seconds later the deceased critter can be dumped out of the trap into a Quart sized zip-lock storage bag for disposal in the trash. My only complaint is that the bait tray is quite a long reach from the door end of the trap, so reaching it is a minor chore. I always wear disposable (nitrile) rubber gloves when handling the trap for cleaning, baiting, setting, transporting, and 'execution' and dumping. This prevents touching the critter or its possible fluids, and also avoids leaving my scent on the trap. Before each re-use, I reach into the trap with gloved hand, holding a folded half-sheet or paper towel and wipe the bait tray until visibly clean. I re-bait with peanut butter on the end of a wooden Popsicle stick.I have two of these traps, and keep them pretty busy reducing the vermin population near my house to a tolerable level.

It works!
After buy numerous traps and poison this one worked, used fat from that I trimmed off a roast. The squirrels and chipmunks ignored the bait.
