Read it twice and used the online tests to prepare for the exam. It had 95% of the content needed for the exam. There are some glaring and humorous errors in the book most notably the authors think that the Euro is the currency in the UK and that the UK has already left the EU.

This book flows are lot better than the CBK. Its a bit short, but i think that's fair as the CBK is just full of repetition and waffle.

I have used these certification style books before e,g for Forensic Certifications such as ENCE and CISP The books are not what I would describe to be reference manuals but tend to be very focused around the particular certifications syllabus. I have studied previously for the CISP examination using a similar book and found it very beneficial as a learning and revision aid. The questions are good practice to complete and an essential part of the book. The CCSP is very focused on the cloud security aspects so I would not use this for any other certification. Anyone who is intending to study for this certification should seriously consider buying this books.

There's alot on the exam that's not included in the book - it definitely needs an update, although the information IN the book is great.

Indispensable study guide if you in working in this field- you get plenty of background information and the book is up-to-date and well structured, orientating you expertly toward the exam. It offers plenty of self-testing opportunities and very good support materials on the dedicated website, so you can't really go wrong using this as a core study handbook really.

As cloud certifications go, this must be one of the more obscure (especially given that if you are using this to study for a cloud certification you would probably know what it is and how relevant it is for you before buying this book). The thing about the CCSP is that is concentrates on its specialism: security. Something that most IT professionals have realized for quite some time would be a very important (critical) field for all concerned. The exam guide itself is really well written - clear, detailed where it needs to be leaves you feeling that you know the topic - as opposed to coming away concerned that you might need to read around the topic before the exam. Topics include cloud data security, application security, operations and legal and compliance information and each are reinforced with pre-test quizzes and post-chapter quizzes to make sure you are understanding the topics. The guide is also up-to-date in its scope (as you would expect), covering virtualisation, infrastructure as a service, PaaS, cloud models (such as private and hybrid cloud) and securing each of those. I particularly liked the section on disaster recovery and business continuity management and the specific concerns around these in terms of cloud computing. With more than 500 questions, 100 flashcards (electronic) and a glossary in PDF format that you can get from the supporting web site this is a good deal. As indicated, this is a specialism and if you have gotten this far you will not only know what is expected of you in this exam but will be looking for good preparation: this is it! I would highly recommend this book.

I found that this book had a great introduction of the knowledge required for cloud computing security as well as the coverage of the exam to be an CCSP. Each chapter reiterates and expands the points in details. I particularly enjoy the Real World Scenarios provided, they illustrate the contents and make them easier to remember and picture what is actually going on in real life. Also, the flow of the book is pretty is easy to follow.

Il libro e' chiaro e ben organizzato. Piacevole, alcune volte ci sono contenuti ridondanti ma e' sicuramente molto migliorato rispetto alla precedente pubblicazione. Non ho messo 5 stelle perche' penso si possa ancora perfezionare.

Yes I want to be the first to review this book. I previewed this book before buying and I had the impression it was very well researched and coherent from section to section and chapter to chapter. I must also so this is the second book I am buying for the same exam and the first one was a disaster. I mean a total disaster. This book appears to have been very well researched and reviewed, not only for the content but also on how it is organized and presented to the reader for easy comprehension. The examples in the book help readers relate to what they might already know all in an effort to ease comprehension. The reader of this review may think I have been paid to write this but sorry I am just a buyer as you. I just tried reading the other so called "Official CCSP Guide" and could not read pass chapter one. I cursed on every page as it looked like a copy paste for fast publication. I will update you as soon as I pass the certification exam.
