Good Product. Runs with 100 to 140 MBPS. Light weight and pocket friendly to carry. Design itself also good to feel that fabric.

I found a strange issue with this hard disk. The write speed suddenly drops from 90-100Mbps to 20-30Mbps for few seconds. These are not random files with differential file size which can effect write speed. Most of the files were Blu ray Movies above 10-20GB. I tried to copy these files to WD Passport HDD no issues found. WD Passport HDD write speed is between 80-100Mbps Also, the default 256bit hardware based encryption software takes additional time to unlock the drive as compared to WD. The build quality of this hard disk is excellent compared to WD Passport. I don't know if this issue with my unit. Ended up returning.

Very bad product and customer service

while syncing data, drive stopped working, and became not accessible after 1TB of data transfer

This drive has not worked well with my Macbook. It takes hours and several tries to get it to mount and it only seems to get worse. I've spent an unacceptable amount of time researching the web and trying workarounds. Perhaps this is a good product for Windows machines, but out of the box it has been a bad experience for this Macbook user. Disappointed and feel like I've wasted my money.
