I bake my own bread almost every week, and I’ve always loathed the flimsy twist wires that come with bulk bread bags. They’re slow, fiddly, and are often difficult to untie. These Squeeze and Lock Bread Bag Clips are a massive, massive upgrade. They’re very fast and easy to use — just squeeze, slide over the bag neck, release, and they lock securely in place. No more fighting with wires or struggling with flat plastic clips that don’t grip well. They feel sturdy, come in nice bright colors (helpful if you’re freezing multiple loaves or different types of bread), and they keep the bags tightly sealed. I’ve had zero issues with bags coming open in the freezer. The only minor downside is that they’re a bit bulkier than twist ties or flat clips, so they take up slightly more space in the pantry or freezer. But the convenience and speed they provide more than make up for it — I’ll not go back to twist wires again. If you bake your own bread (or just hate dealing with those awful twist ties), do yourself a favor and get these. Highly recommended!

It's a clip you can use to keep a twisted bag (like a bread bag) closed. Anywhere you might use a "bread tie" you can use this instead. Push the button on top to open the mouth. Release the button to close it. The mouth is not very big though, so if your bag has a really big neck it may be too thick to use this clip. Works great on a bread bag, or bagel bag, or something of similar size, maybe a bit larger. Bear in mind these are not 100% air tight. But they will keep your bag MOSTLY closed. They're made of cheap plastic, but the shape (and intended purpose) makes them tough enough to do the job. Just don't drop them off the fourth floor balcony or hit them with a hammer or they'll break.

Works great, a huge upgrade from the twist ties and the stupid plastic clips that come on bake goods. Easy to use.

Handy and easier on arthritic fingers than using twisty ties or those plastic thingys. . They do come apart quit easily but no problem to put it back together.

They perform their task, but weakly. I have others from a different manufacture that I would give 5 stars. These not so much. They came in a small, thin box (2x5 stack). The first three that came out of the box, separated into three pieces upon coming out of the box. SO the quality is suspect for the long term. Also, the spring, is not that strong, so the clip holds less tightly than the others I have of the same design.
