McCauley Tools -Revolver- Paint Brush and Roller Extender

IT’S A PAINT GUN!! Fits Purdy pole like a dream. The fact this is the type of device 007 would use if he was doing up his place makes the toy/tool even better.

I used this with a brush to paint edges of wall and ceiling at the top of a stairwell. I used the same colour on ceiling and wall so didn't need to be too accurate, but with practice should be possible to paint a reasonable line in a different colour. I used a Farrow & Ball long handled cutting in brush, and the screw clamp held the straight wooden handle very securely, teamed with a Harris pole the set up proved very stable and easy to use. I am very pleased with this purchase as it meant that I could redecorate my stairwell myself and didn't need to get a decorator in.

Really great product idea. Managed to ‘cut in’ on high ceilings on stairwell. Take a few minutes to get the hand of it. Fits all size paint brushes. Only negative is that it doesn’t come with a pole, and the fit is quite small and wouldn’t fit our extender so had to use a thinner broom handle from kitchen. Would have given it 5 had it come attached to a pole.

Great piece of kit to reach high walls and cutting in!! Saves using a ladder. Fits brush and large/small rollers!

This was bought to fix (using the thread not the push in) in a Harris pole (which is very good BTW) so as to do the cutting in on a half landing which is particularly awkward for us. We had to try a few different brushes before we got one that worked. The issue is the handle of the brush. Many have a tear drop shape with a taper away from the brush head and as the screw mechanism in the extender can only go up or down, all we ended up doing was forcing the brush handle back out so no use at all. The screw thread itself was very tight I thought. The other part of this is a holder to take a small roller. It isn't for use for covering large areas and is again better suited for doing some of the cutting in work. So not bad all round but if you buy one, you may need to get some different brushes.

Fascia board and metal guttering on my bungalow over conservatory needed painting this was perfect. I'm female and in my 80s and found it so easy to use. I found it better with the brush than roller but that was probably just me.

I bought this to use with an extension pole for some outside painting and it worked very well, is sturdy holds different sizes of brush easily, and comes with a mini roller bar which came in useful I have used the revolver with just the brush i find it very comfortable to use especially as I have arthritis and have found it painful holding a paintbrush for long periods, with this, I had a better, more comfortable painless grip would highly recommend it.

I purchased this to use on an exterior porch which is tricky to reach. The roller attachment is probably fine but the brush attachment isn’t really up to much. I’m 5 foot 8, healthy, young and reasonably strong, yet I struggled to use it as intended. It’s far too heavy and not suitable for tricky areas. I’m aware the brush can be rotated but due to the weight of the pole, it makes the manoeuvres really tricky!

This product works just as advertised. It worked very well while painting my kitchen, it got into the corners of the room easily, and it made my painting job much easier. It's an easy to handle painting tool and this product helped with reaching hard to get to areas, especially high areas around the ceiling. While using this product, the paint went on evenly and smoothly. Furthermore, it was also easy to use, and I liked that it can be adjusted at different angles, so that I was able to get into tight corners. Overall, I do recommend this product to my family and friends and to anyone who's considering purchasing it. It is a good product, and it does help with painting in any corner or high area of your room. A perfect 5 stars!
