Works great, well made, sturdy and fits my laptop well. I purchased to get my work laptop off my desk and since I use it only during work hours I can move it out of my way when off work hours. It was easy to assemble but trying to figure out how to lower the arm was a little hard. The gas spring required a lot of force to get it to release the tension but once we figured that out it was good to go! It can be adjusted in many positions. I'm using for laptop but it's nice that they include the mount option for a monitor as well, not only does it enhance the value but increases the longevity of usage since it can be used for two purposes if I no longer want to use for a laptop.

Fully adjustable, comes with everything you need to put it together and absolutely rock solid and out weighed my expectations. Nice that it’s dual purpose as well allowing you to use as monitor mount or laptop mount. Great purchase, worth every penny and I highly recommend it!

See photo, the tension can be adjusted to hold objects of various weight, these make great textbook holders! When the tension is adjusted correctly you can move them around very freely but they are still stable. They can be adjusted to work with heavy or light books, between 11 inches and 19 inches wide when open. I could see these being very very useful for a teacher who wanted to keep a textbook open at near eye level to reference while they are standing and lecturing or working on a whiteboard. Or anyone who would find it useful to reference a book while standing.

Got this to clean up my desk and lift my laptop off the surface… made a bigger difference than I expected. Being able to position the laptop exactly where I want it (especially while recording or working on music) just feels way more comfortable. The arm itself feels pretty sturdy once it’s clamped down properly. It doesn’t wobble much unless you’re really moving it around, and it holds the laptop securely without feeling sketchy. Adjustments are smooth enough — not super loose, not overly stiff. I like that I can swing it out of the way when I need more space, then pull it back in when I’m working. Definitely helps keep things cleaner, especially in a smaller setup. Setup took a bit of tweaking to get the tension right, and it’s not the most compact thing visually, but once it’s dialed in it just works. Good upgrade if you’re trying to make your desk feel more like a proper workstation.
