After much browsing I bought this unit. I selected it because it has a bright display with a large enough platform so my large bowls dont hide it, without being too tall for the storage drawer. Also, it is USB rechargeable, has push buttons, not the horrid touch buttons. These are the features I required. I really don't need more than on/off, tare, and unit. Give me simplicity! But maybe in time I will find the other features helpful. It is insanely accurate, (to tenths of a gram, which is something I don't want and complicates the display, so I simply stuck a piece of black electrical tape ove the tenths place), and it comes with a calibrating weight. Really! I found that it is provided because different altitudes affect the weight--that's how precise this unit is! The user manual is a small slip of paper with fine print, and that discouraged me from thoroughly reading it. They really should provide instuctions with larger print to go with the scales fabulously readable display. Because of that problem, my first review had this complaint: "I really wish the auto turn-off gave way more time or could be turned off." Well, if I had read closely I would have learned that a long hold on the tare button allows the auto-off to be set at 1 min, (which is how it came, and it was killing me) to 2, 3 minutes, and never. That's awesome! What is also awesome is the customer responsiveness of this company. They read my review and promptly emailed me to resolve my dissatisfaction. Now I am delighted with the scale, even though I would like it to have a higher weight capacity than 11 pounds. But that's hard to find in a scale with all the other features I want. It otherwise is the perfect scale for my large batch breadbaking.

We love this scale. Based on the included test weight, it is highly accurate. We have a food trailer that uses very expensive ingredients, so an accurate scale is critical to proper costing. It's very easy to use and to read.

I have a set of 2g, 10g, and 50g calibration weights for a lab scale, as well as the 100g weight this one comes with. 2g: 1.9 - 2.1g. I tared between each measurement, and it would read high or low by .1g 10g: repeatedly gave 10.1g 50g: repeatedly gave 49.9g 100g: repeatedly gave 100.0g Obviously not wanting to use a lab scale for kitchen, this is close enough for kitchen work, soap making, or anything where 0.1g is nice but not strictly necessary. Most scales with this broad range do suffer with light weights, and I have another scale for the low end. What is more important is precision, and repeatability in the zone you'll be working with, and this seems to hold calibration fairly well. I like that it is .1g, and can do baker math %. I do a lot of bread, and that is a great feature since most of my recipes are baker formula. Build quality is a little light, it has a slight wobble where the front right foot is a a couple paper thicknesses high The cover is a nice touch, but it kind of sits on top and doesn't really feel like it was designed with any proper resting placement in mind. It has graduation markings on the side, which is comical since measuring anything with precision that shallow and wide is a guess... and why you buy a scale. Easy surfaces to clean, the LED panel is not recessed, so it won't collect flour and spices. More expensive than others, but it has more features. If all you want is gram and ounce, I'd get something else. Load cell scales are all pretty descent these days. For more features, which I will actually use, it's a reasonable price. For more accuracy, I'd bite the bullet and get a lab scale, but nobody needs a lab scale for kitchen.

This is THE best scale in the world in my book. I have used this scale for over a year now. Still as good and reliable as day one. If I was given a $500 scale as a gift, I would still use this one. The batteries! Options! Options! Options! I wish other electronics combined a built in battery, PLUS extra batteries, PLUS running off a plug. Why don't other companies take advantage of this? Its so cool. This thing ALWAYS turns on. Always! The built in weight is something most scales dont have but this does. It stowes away nicely and never gets lost. It has a large platform and there are SO MANY measuring units! I liked this scale so much, I had an unlimited budget to get my sister a scale, and I chose this one for her. This scale is a true gem. I have used it for small measurements, big measurements. Medical purposes, for mail, for gems. And even used it for weighing industrial parts and large items. You could use this to measure salt, or something as big as a small to medium size briefcase (under 5kg). From what I can tell accuracy has always been on point. Its amazing the scale range. Honestly, I buy alot of stuff, and this is the hallmark of value. A true hidden gem in internet land. Every once in awhile, you can find a grandslam on Amazon or chinese branded products. This is a Grandslam. I cannot recommend enough. This should be standard issue for every American household. Neither of the 2 units have ever given me problems. As mentioned before, the one I bought has been kicked around and used for over a year. Still going strong. I have never once turned it on and have it not turn on. It always has power. No issues. None. I cannot think of a single negative. This scale is a 15 out of 10. This is... The BEST scale. Period.

Accurate scale, I verified with weights. Nice big display and easy to read which type of weight it is measuring. I like that the tare button is separate from the on/off button. My only complaint is when adding/removing from the scale it can be a little slow to update. Just gotta pause a moment to let it do its thing. Super minor issue really, overall I'm happy with it.

Awesome value for the money! Works very well for everyday use and It is very easy to operate. The scale has remained accurate and in good working order since I got it three months ago.

Excellent item. Received today and tested all functions - works fine! The downside is the price: I've paid SGD70 here, but if order from TaoBao - it is SGD15... Anyway made in China, will think twice next time I need any appliance. Also batteries are not included, no problem. Manual is very basic, but at least in English.

This kitchen scale is product of a great quality. It is a pleasure to use it. It is very accurate , well designed and all buttons work like a clock ! The " Hold " button is very practical in use and I take advantage of it very often when weighting various cooking or baking ingredients. I simply like very much the large display window which is back lit. It enables me to see the readings very clearly . My only regret is that I waited this long to buy this wonderful kitchen scale to replace my old one. I would recommend this product to everyone who is in the market for a new kitchen scale.
