Work as intended
Works perfectly for my arts and crafts but purchased specifically for cutting dollhouse trim. Very easy to use. Great value and have held up fine too.

Edit: I’m raising the stars from a one to a 4 because of the customer service. They reached out to me after my review and sent me a new tool. So far, it’s working fine. Unfortunately, it doesn’t cut straight but at an angle from top to bottom. The replacement they sent me had extra blades in it (the original did not). It is working fine for my uses and I am able to sand away the angle in the cut, so I’m pleased. Bummed. It wouldn’t even YT through a popsicle stick. Unfortunately, I didn’t open it right away and it’s too late to return. Really disappointed.

Can't cut a popsicle stick!
Incredibly disappointed. After seeing such great reviews at an affordable price, I was excited to try these for a miniature woodworking project. However, these shears could barely cut through a POPSICLE STICK. I had to push with both hands and still, there were multiple pieces that I simply could not cut through. I mean, if it can't cut through a popsicle stick, I don't see this as even remotely useful to cut trim and moulding.

Gartol Miter Shears
I love my mitre shears..I do dollhouse dollhouse furniture..these mitre shears are perfect for what I do.. I've waited a long time to buy a pair but I couldn't pass up this pair because Gartol had such a great price on this particular pair.. they are very sharp and I think that they will serve me well for a long time.. thank you, Gartol
