This refill is perfect for my Lamy pen. I did have to snip off the skinny tab at the back end to make it fit, but it's perfect now. The blue color is nice and bright and I'm happy.

This refill (medium 1.0) writes smoothly and has a good average blue color, not too bright and not too faded out. It’s a good color for a professional blue ballpoint pen. Deducted one star for ink flow. It’s smooth enough but not as good as a jetstream or quinkflow refill.

This refill is a factory replacement for the one that came in my Lamy pen, so if fits perfectly and works very well. The Lamy Safari ballpoint pen in a great writing instrument. It's comfortable in the hand, and it writes very smoothly. The refills, however, are not so easy to find, and they're quite expensive in office supply stores. It was readily available here on Amazon, and the price was good. Bottom line: This is an item you'll need, and this is the right place to buy it.

In 1985 I left my job to take another one. My employer gave me a wonderful pen and pencil set. I hardly ever used the pencil but the pen was used just about every day . I love the pen. Over the years I unsuccessfully tried to purchase a replacement ink cartridge (Lamy M16F) for it from stores specializing in pens. I was usually told that the cartridge was not a standard item; would be expensive to procure and would take weeks to get it in stock. I always accepted this excuse but, through Amazon, I finally found a supplier on the Internet (Pen Boutique Ltd.). I ordered 3 cartridges and not only was the price more than reasonable but the order arrived in my mailbox in super fast time. I am more than satisfied with the quality of the cartridge. It has the feel and the writing quality of my old Lamy M16F; so, Lamy has retained its excellent manufacturing standards over the decades. I should mention that my original cartridge from 1985 still writes. To my mind, that is an amazing feat. You won't be disappointed if you buy this product. Expect it to last you for years.
