Product Description Why does it seem easy to damage a wooden pole when I am knocking them into the hard ground with my lump hammer? Hi, wooden poles can split if hammered into hard or stony ground with a heavy metal hammer. They are best for campsites beaches or soft grass. Use a rubber mallet or pre-drill holes to avoid damage. Not recommended for very hard or compact surfaces. Why does it seem easy to damage a wooden pole when I am knocking them into the hard ground with my lump hammer? Hi, With our windbreaks they are unique in the fact they have a beading down either end of the windbreaks which would mean that you can join them together with a figure of 8 plastic strip (not Included). Review: 5 star company - Very happy with the purchase there was a pole broken and I got intouch with the company and within 2 days I’d received new ones really good company to deal with Thankyou Review: Terrible product - Terrible product, on its first use: 1. Pole snapped in the wind 2. Further two poles snapped when I tried to take them out of the ground 3. Impossible to remove the poles when the material is wet 4. Long thin threads from the material coming from the holes for the poles Need I go on😡

Easy to put up
Very good , so easy to put up and looks good to the steel ends are a bonus as it protects the end of the dowl from getting crushed

Windbreak
Used twice so far, it looks good and has stud up to some strong winds and hasn’t budged, only thing I don’t like is some of the poles seem to be poorly finished and have a few big splinters which snag on the material as you remove them or stick into your fingers

Snapped on first use!!
Me and my partner used this windbreak for just one day whilst on our camping trip and 5 of the poles completely snapped at the bottom leaving just the spike in the ground which we were unable to get out! I would understand these snapping a little more if we used this in severe weather conditions however the wind was low on the day we used them and somehow they snapped throughout the day with us sitting near them! I’m not sure if ours were faulty or if they’re all like this! Very disappointing as then we didn’t have a windbreak for the rest of our trip! I also can’t find a place to contact the seller so this is very frustrating! I hope you see this review!

Very disappointing product, no refund offered
Absolutely terrible product, wooden poles with metal spear for ground and tip to avoid splitting wood when hammering in seemed a good idea, however upon our first erect of this product a gust of wind broke five out of the seven poles at the point were the wood meets the metal spear in the ground. Contacted the seller they offered to send replacement poles, however the poles are the problem, I requested a particial refund as we went to our DIY store and bought solid galv steel poles so we used the fabric, hence particial refund, to be told they don't offer refunds, the poles we bought cost us another £70 so all in all an expensive windbreak for us. Customer service 0/10 product 4/10 would not recommend

Excellent quality .
This item is very good quality. The poles are in two parts so fit in any boot . I leave them joined together as it was a fiddle when got to beach . Metal points on poles made it easy to put in ground .Much better than cheaper versions we have had in the past . I bought 5 pole version and it is plenty big enough for 2 of us .
