I love this pie iron. We have made some great sandwiches and even pizza pockets in it while camping.

My husband and I are avid campers, and we just celebrated our Sixth anniversary. The traditional gift is 'Iron' and I knew I couldn't possibly get The Iron Throne from Game of Thrones into the house inconspicuously so I went a little 'outside of the box' and decided to go the practical route by purchasing these IRON pie irons.These are well made, slim for packing purposes, and will make us lots of yummy camp foods over our campfire.

We had two smaller pie irons, but wanted the larger-sized ones as well. These were fantastic to use for making pizza pockets and other meals over the campfire.

I got this for a Christmas gift for someone who goes camping. They enjoyed using it, but had to cut off some of the bread in order for it to fit. They didn't mind and it worked well. They enjoyed their sandwich. They felt it was solid, but didn't mention how easy it was to clean. There were no complaints. Based on their happiness with this product, I would recommend it.
