These are excellent needles. What makes the difference? The shape of the caps, the perfect alignment of the screw threads, and the absence of unpleasant edges while handling. This is not just an item that was built to function correctly. This needle and its protective caps was very carefully designed for comfort and ease of use. AND it's extremely functional as well. And great price! Far and away recommended over others I've tried.

I use these needles for my insulin pen and they fit perfectly. They are pain-free and well-built. It is obvious that a lot of care has gone into these as their quality, functionality and value for the money if top-notch. They are very easy to set-up with no issues on accidental sticks with exposed needles. I like the fact that I can easily order these from Amazon, which saves me time from having to go to my local pharmacy to pick some up.

Work and fit well. Just wish they sold smaller quantities. I have so many left I can't use.

The product itself is great. However the USPS was too lazy to walk it up to the door. It would not fit in the mailbox so they tried to push it into the box. Doing so was not successful so they just left it crushed and hanging outside of the box. They only destroyed 4 needles. I wish Amazon would let us choose carriers. The USPS screws things up often.

I am absolutely satisfied with this purchase. It fits my nightly Glargine-yfgn injection pen perfectly. I did not feel this tiny needle stick unlike other 4 mm or 6 mm needles. No insulin pooled under my skin either. The lower price is definitely a plus. My photo shows two 4 mm needles. The BD 4mm needle is on the left. The Gluco-care 4 mm is on the right and is the smaller and painless needle that I switched to.

GLUCO-CARE Pen Tips 32G x 5/32’’ (4mm), Universal Fit, Optimal Skin-Contact Base for Comfort: I've tried several brands of pen needles but none compared to the comfort of the very expensive BD 32 X 4mm pen needles, until THESE. You barely, feel anything when sticking yourself with them, especially if you do use them just once. I used to use the BD needles several times (even though not supposed to), and I've found that you can use these a few times too. The needle is very small and thin and they don't have that long pointy cover that's hard to get back on the needle without touching/dulling the needle. They have short stout lids for easy recapping. The base of the needle is round and flat too, which they call "skin-contact base". I didn't know if that made a big difference when I was looking at their description and its in the title of these needles, but I guess it does. All of the others I've tried did NOT have this type of a base. The only thing that they could improve on these are the caps but to me that's pretty minor so I still gave them 5 stars. The caps don't stay on very well so you really need to press it back on firmly so they don't fall back off. The BD, with my Medicare Advantage insurance planquoted me something like a whopping $240 for a 100 count box with my deductible and all that BS! That's just INSANE! Then when a new year comes in, I would have to pay that again and again every year for 100 needles - - even more insane. A few years back with the insurance I had through my job I would be able to get 5 boxes of BD needles for a 3 mo. supply, so like 500 needles for FREE. Well, not anymore. They are sucking the life out of people for pen needles which I would assume are pretty cheap to make! That's why I've tried several brands, trying to find something at least a little comparable to the fineness and comfort of the BD's. Well, I must say that I've finally succeeded with these. I live in MA and for some reason, many of the pen needles are "not allowed to ship" to my state. I have no idea why, but these are so hopefully that doesn't change. I'm trying to stock up and order a box here and there even if I don't need them right now in case it does change. That's how much I like these pen needles. Hope this is helpful to someone. Oh, and my review is not one of the "promotional" reviews. I've paid for every box!
