ABRO Rear View Mirror Adhesive, Two-Step Application, Ultra-Strong Permanent Bond, Ideal for Auto
There isn't one redeeming quality to this mirror glue kit. I read the instructions thoroughly, they were very fragmented and nonsensical. So I did all of the prep work to the glass and the button the best I could, given the horrible instructions. Put 2 drops of glue on the button, I held the button firmly to the glass for 1 minute. I let go, and the button slid halfway down the windshield and dropped off onto the floor. I thought "oh no, how am I going to get that mess of glue cleaned off of the windshield?!" Well, it was easy, because it was like water. No adhesive quality whatsoever. I just wiped it off with a paper towel and it cleaned right up. Then I applied a super name brand glue gel, using the same prep method, and it stuck in 30 seconds. It's still holding. This mirror adhesive kit isn’t worth the paper the instructions were printed on.ABRO Rear View Mirror Adhesive, Two-Step Application, Ultra-Strong Permanent Bond, Ideal for Auto Trim Attachment, Quick-Set Solution for Mirrors, Trim, and MoldingsASIN: B0CHDJXS5R

Follow directions, timing is critical.Mirror staying perfectly after 3wks.Product packaging had no date code.Product was less liquid and more gooey, likely a little old but still worked well.

Mirror adhesive
I purchased the adhesive to attach a mirror to my windshield. The application has to be done correctly to get a proper bond at the correct location. I, therefore, wanted to apply it exactly as instructed. The following are my application steps and problems.1. Cleaning the surfaces. I used 320 grit sand paper to remove tarnish and old adhesive from the metal piece that holds the mirror. A razor and alcohol were used to prepare the glass.2. Application of activator. This is where I ran into a problem. The instructions (see picture) told me to pull apart the plastic tabs and apply the activator liquid to the metal and glass. The package, however, does not contain this type of applicator. The activator liquid is in a vial with a cloth swab attached to the top.To clarify the instructions, I called the number on the package. Abro is a US based company, so there was no language barrier. The operator connected me with someone in the corporate department. He wasn’t familiar with the product and couldn’t help suggest anything other than breaking open the vial. I wound up puncturing the vial through the cloth.( Later, I was able to find a video produced by the manufacturer that said to crush the vial with your fingers.) Once the cloth was wet with the activator, I applied it to the metal piece and windshield area then waited for over a minute as instructed.4. Application of adhesive. I quickly applied a couple of drops to the metal and pressed it to the windshield. It felt like it was not moving after about 10 seconds.Conclusion. Once I struggled through inadequate instructions, the adhesive worked.I can recommend this product with 4 stars with the caveat to watch the video instructions.
