We have well water with a reverse osmosis system and the water is clean but tastes a little flat. These little packets make a big difference in the taste of coffee!

We have a reverse osmosis filter on our drinking water that comes from a well. The water is generally good, but the reverse osmosis makes it have a "dry" taste. The first time I used Third Wave water for coffee was when we had guests. I had been reluctant to try and sell my wife on the product that I had recently bought so I didn't mention to her what water I had used. Immediately after serving the coffee, our guests commented on how good the coffee was. The comment was entirely unsolicited. Since then I almost won't make coffee at home without adding this to our RO water. I really believe that the minerals help absorb and retain the coffee flavor. I recommend it to my friends.

I’m loving this product! I use a Pur water filter system for my kitchen faucet. The water being filtered is soft, and after filtration lacks minerals. I use the water system to filter out any chlorine in my water supply for brewing beer with. So I use this product for putting the minerals back into my water supply. So far, I’ve been seeing a lot better results with my Specific Gravity and PH readings and I am seeing better results with adjustments in my water to bring ph levels to an acceptable range for my brewing. I love the boost of my grains flavor profile, it brings out the flavor profile of the hops and helps my yeasts work more efficiently, minimizing any stalling of the yeast. Would I recommend using this product? Absolutely I would!

The water is generally hard where I live and since converting to this there actually has been a noticeable quality shift from filtered tap water to this. My espresso machine has been much happier for it and so have my taste buds. Definitely worth it 👍

While we noticed a definite difference in taste it wasn't exceptional to our taste. We will try a different coffee soon & see if that is better. A little pricey though. Looking for other alternatives.

I've been using Third Wave Water for several years now. It really improves the flavor of the coffee but I do wish it cost a bit less. I tried making my own using recipes from the internet but it did not turn out well! If you want the good stuff you have to pay!

I rely on these salt mixture additives that pour into any 1 gallon bottle of distilled water. They provide chemically pure (chlorine and fluorine free) mixtures that have proven to be exactly the pH and mineral content for your best cup of home brew. I’ve compared them to local tap waters and spring bottled water and these are the best at bringing out the most desirable notes you are seeking from your brew. I use the light mix for light roasts and so on. Invaluable!

Geschmacklich wirklich sehr gut und aus meiner Sicht nochmal eine Verbesserung gegenüber Volvic, was ich davor für Kaffee verwendet habe! Einen Stern ziehe ich aber aus mehreren Gründen ab: Die Tüten sind jeweils für 1 U.S.-Gallone Wasser ausgelegt. Es gibt aus meiner Sicht keinen vernünftigen Grund, weshalb dieser Schwachsinn auf dem deutschen Markt vertrieben wird, zumal eine Liter-Variante ebenfalls verfügbar ist. Zudem sind die Informationen beim Medium Roast Profile etwas verwirrend: Kann bzw. sollte man das als Espresso-Wasser für mittlere Röstungen verwenden? Nach meinem Verständnis ist für Espresso ausschließlich das Espresso Machine Profile vorgesehen. Andererseits ist wohl nur das Light Roast Profile wirklich für Espressomaschinen schädlich (enthält Chloridionen, die die Boiler angreifen). Auf Reddit liest man sogar, dass es eigentlich keinen wirklichen Unterschied zwischen dem Medium Roast Profile und dem Espresso Machine Profile gebe… Hier wäre eine transparentere Kommunikation wünschenswert, ebenso wie es sich mit den Zielwerten der SCA verhält.

It's well-documented that Third Wave will improve your coffee brews, but I had some reservations. How can such a small amount of minerals have such a big impact? But it's true - this product used with distilled water makes an almost unbelievable difference in the taste of my morning coffee. I was so blown-away by the difference I actually concerned it was in my head - so I had people blind taste test coffee made with and without Thrid Wave. Every single person that sampled noted a significant improvement in the taste, and the precieved quality of the coffee made with Thrid Wave. I now use Thrid Wave for all my coffee in all my machines - none of which have developed noticable scaling after months of use. For the skeptics out there - give it a shot. You won't be dissapointed.
