Just what the doctor ordered, I have an E-Trac and jut gets a little heavy swinging. Got the shoulder harness and if works great. Comfortable fit well made, easy to adjust.

I bought this for my detector. I almost didn't because it received some poor reviews about the sling slipping and being too short. I have to say there are limited instructions, so that might be part of the problem. The sling has plenty of adjustment and unless you are 8ft tall or have a huge stomach, it should fit. I weigh 190 and am 6'. There's plenty of adjustment. You have to take the pad off to adjust and then put it back on. As far as slipping, initially, when I took the ring out, I installed it the way it came out of the package. I couldn't get it to stay on or not slip. I then turned it over and looped it backwards through the ring...rock solid, no slip.

This is set up so you rest the weight of your machine on the sling (shoulder). When adjusted propperly your hand is used to merely swing the machine and adjust your settings, not carry its weight. It is a real game changer. You may unclip it to dig or as I do, swing it behind me.

the most important part the anchor point where the strap wraps around the shaft is poorly designed, the strap is barely long enough to wrap around the shaft giving only about an inch of velcro strap trying to hold the metal detector, the company says to soak in water to get it to hold better, tried it and guess what? it didn't work. All the company needs to do to fix the problem is to add enough velcro to wrap around the shaft one time but instead they tell you to soak in water before installing. I believe it is all about cutting costs at the factory and not a quality product.

This works pretty well. Im new to the detecting hobby but this sling comes in handy with all the ups and downs involved. Makes it easy to hang the detector off my side, keeping my hands free for other related tasks of digging a target. I kind of wish it had a little more length to allow for more freedom of movement with my Tesoro Cibola, but it works well enough that Ive gotten used to it.

I found the sling to be well made, easy to set up. comfortable when attached to my Metal Detector. I am pleased with my purchase.

Velcro piece doesn't hold. Its too weak or too short.

It isn't long enough to use when metal detecting. It sweeps to far from the ground & is hard to control. I got it to help support my bad arm but it is better without it. It works to carry the detector around. So would not suggest getting it if you are my height of 5'6". It is easy to put on the detector.

I may need to exednd the length, but I expected to because I am larger than most people. Other wise it seems to work good.
