This surface docking station works very well for use with your surface. The design is innovative because it attaches to the USB C ports. I use it often to charge my mouse and keyboard while simultaneously charging the surface. I highly recommend this surface docking station whether for use at home or on the go.

This worked as expected, and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend to any SP9 users.

I just upgraded my Surface and unfortunately, the docking station that I'd been using for years no longer fits the new models. I thought I'd try this one, and while it works, I'm not sure I'll use it as my primary docking station for my desk. It is really good for travel, however! It's lightweight, easily fits in my computer bag, and has just enough ports for my mouse, keyboard, and wired headphones. There is an HDMI port, so I should be able to connect it to my secondary monitor, but since I can't find my HDMI cord at the moment, I haven't had a chance to test it. The nice thing is that it can be used as a "plug and play" type system where you keep all the accessories connected to the dock and then just plug it into the Surface when you are ready to use it. There are no charging capabilities like my last dock had, but it does leave the charging port free to be used with the Surface charging cord. Overall, I recommended it for a travel docking system, but I might look for something a little heavier-duty for my primary docking station.

Gives the ability to connect numerous external devices to my tablet. Small and compact, easily storable for traveling and doesn't take up to much space. Extremely satisfied with the unit.

After a few weeks of use, the hub does not fit correctly in the USB ports. This causes the connection with the monitors is lost and gives an error message. Reviewing older reviews, this is a common problem with this product. Do not buy it. The worst part is that, since I live outside the US, the amount that Amazon gives for postage does not cover the international shipping, so I can not return it, and thus I the money paid is lost.

Everything works great. It would be nice if the ports would be identified on both sides of the docking station. I've had this for 7 months now and the RJ45 port will no longer hold the cable in place. The latch is broken. I don't use the RJ45 port very much since the laptop has good Wi-Fi. It just seems that the port should last longer. I'll try and get ahold of the supplier and see if it can be replaced since the description says 24 month after-service and no worry on return or refund.

All the connections work well (Ethernet, USB-C, sound) but the HDMI connection is a disaster! - You can't control the brightness and night mode of the external display - If the Surface Pro is moved slightly on the table, the connection to the monitor becomes disconnected! I frequently need to disconnect the HDMI cable and connect it again to recognize the monitor. So, perfect if you don't care about the HDMI connection.
