Just an excellent, well-designed tool. Mine came a little scratched, but it's holding up fine. I love the transparent parallel-line grid. Did a lot of searching to find it after seeing it in a video by Thomas Bertling (that version lacked the Rotring logo, so it was hard to find), and I'm so glad I did!

Nicely-made. Molded-in "dots" on the bottom to avoid smearing lines. Crystal clear with sharp markings. Handle snaps in firmly and stays put. A simple thing made well.

Whenever I was drawing anything geometrical, or planning a design for some DYI fix, this has been my instrument of choice since high school. Actually, I was still using the one I used throughout high school and college and the 40 years between then and now, made by Faber-Castell. But it was time to upgrade to a nicer, bigger, less beat-up version, and this is it! First test runs have been very satisfactory. I have no doubt that this one, made by Rotring, will serve me well for the foreseeable future. Worth every penny, and more.

Vast improvement over the crummy thing I was using before. Tapered edges, handle, reference angles and lines all help to make my use/application faster and better.

Lo unico que no me gusto es que la escuadra no es completamente plana. Hay que presionar un poco sobre el papel para conseguir total planicidad.

Love this, I had it on my wish list for a few months, saw someone using it once, I forgot what they were using it for. Got it yesterday, so I’ve used it for a few hours this morning, trying to learn perspective... seriously using it more than my pencil LOL. So glad I finally got it. Love all the lines, measurements, & the handle attachment, has raised bumps. Nice design, and doesn’t feel cheap.

I'm American, but I prefer to work in metric. The size, shape, obviously a triangle, suits my needs perfectly. It was recommended to me by a friend, and it didn't disappoint. It's well made and has a piece that's easy to use so you can move the ruler around your work. Money well spent.

I have this same triangle (minor differences, but same function and size) from Plantec, another manufacturer, but I can’t find it anywhere online made by Plantec. I was looking for a backup because this is such a useful tool for perspective drawings and I wanted to make sure I’d never be without it. I eventually noticed that this one was a wee bit slightly off in square when laid over graph paper. At first I thought it was my graph paper, so I got my older one out, which I knew to be pretty much near perfect and sure enough it trued up and matched the graph paper. I switched them out probably 10 times to be sure, and every time this one by Rotring was off a bit. As a ‘control’ I also tried all of my other drafting rulers and high-end c-thru triangles over the graph paper. All matched the 90 degree lines perfectly. What’s the old marching band saying? Everybody was out of step but me … ah, no. Human error is enough, I don’t want my tools to compound the problem! Unfortunately I discovered the error well past the return window.

I bought both the centro 25cm and the 32cm as a gift for my wife who is into geometric design and Islamic architecture, which requires very precise and accurate point placement. seeing how much she was struggling with parallel lines, I went and ordered these for her knowing I was buying the best there is. the Rotring brand is well known among artists and architects and I remember some of my architect friends using it for their drawings. it did not disappoint. my wife was elated by how accurate and precise it was. great product all in all.
