after buying drakkar advertised as ead de parfume instead we recieved eau de toilet why is this

This is most likely an advertising error as Drakkar Noir has always been eau de toilette concentration only. There is a perfume concentration fragrance called Drakkar intense, which is not the same scent profile to the OG and comes in an amber bottle with a black lid!

Is this the same smell as lynx oriental deodorant?

That would be a massive coincidence. Like a 100,000 to 1 shot. Why on earth would it? Anyway, it smells like toilet duck, to me, because the cypress note is very prominent for the whole duration of the dry down and, to me, it is very much like pine. Save a few more pennies and get a slightly more expensive cheapie, if you want something with a bit of staying power, like something by Lalique (Lalique White or Encre Noir Sport). Issey Miyake Sport is even better and it will not break the bank.

What are the exact ingredients of this perfume?

Hi, too many ingredients too list (around twelve odd). Best description is on Perfume Direct website. Nice aftershave at reasonable prices. Amazon should list above as well.

How come the 100ml is down from 70 odd quid to 19.99 but the 200ml is 29.99 but says it only down from 35 quid

I have nothing to do with the pricing policy but can only suggest that Dracar Noir is an old fragrance and therefore the smaller amount is reduced to promote clearance. The 200ml amount still represents good value.

Smell is nice

Used to wear this maybe 30 years ago. Can't remember of it's the same smell still but it's nice. Not overpowering. Bottle was small. No regrets but wouldn't probably buy it again as I have better ones.

Aroma doesn't last long.

Purchased this as a bit of retro smell from the 80s i.e Paco Rabanne ,Kouros ,Chanel Antaueus etc. A nice pleasant strong smell at first but fades very very quickly. Glad I only purchased the 30ml 🤗☺️

Still a great fragrance!

Once a star of the 1980s, a staple of many a self respecting young man! Thought I'd take a trip down memory lane and revisit the ubiquitous Drakkar Noir! Yes...it's as I remember it, still a fantastic, fresh, masculine fougere fragrance that has lasted the test of time. Don't confuse this with the old school beast mode usuals from the same era, it holds its own with fragrances of today and is beautiful, well balanced and versatile.

yes it did come out in the 1980’s but let’s be honest ladies a classic never ever going out of style! I have and will always love when a man wears this scent. It has something that appeals to everyone. I think it’s very sexy scent !
