Works fine. Needed something to go under my wool ironing mat as heat can go all the way through it. Trying to stop damage to table surface using the silicone mat.

I use this as a mat under the coffee maker and the toaster. It is a little tacky if you try to wipe it off with your hand, but if you use a damp sponge it's very easy. Stays clean and looks good. Note that this is not clear. It is translucent. Mine is on top of a white painted surface so I don't care, but you may .

Excellent product - durable and easy to clean. We use it to protect a table from grandpas tinkering projects. He loves it - his little tools won’t roll off or damage the table.
