Great tasting alternative to giant pills
My potassium levels were a bit low on some recent lab work and doctor wanted me to take these gigantic chalk looking pills which were the same dose of potassium as these gummies, and boy are these far easier to take than trying to swallow a huge pill. I did check with my doctor and he said he was ok with me taking these instead and good news, my lab work was back to normal on my last check. These taste like a gummy candy and they do the job. If you are prescribed potassium please check with your doctor before just switching to these on your own.

Not only do these chewable taste great, they help me hit my daily potassium intake! Did you know adult men require approximately 3,400mg and adult women require about 2,600mg a day! These are essential for people working in the hot sun all day, or on psych meds that drop potassium levels and make you feel dizzy in hot and humid weather. Other drugs that may decrease potassium include: Insulin. Sodium polystyrene sulfonate, a treatment for hyperkalemia. Mannitol (can cause both hypokalemia and hyperkalemia) Glucocorticoids like prednisone. Mineralocorticoids like fludrocortisone. Anti-infectives (such as amphotericin and high-dose penicillin). Talk to your doctor and check your base levels before using! This has helped me and my partner greatly on hot days and meeting our necessary daily intake.
