I needed to replace a cap on a garbage can so my wheel wouldn't keep trying to run away in the street and beyond. This was a perfect replacement. Now that wheel is destined to stay a part of this garbage can relationship for the foreseeable future. This little metal piece has a grip on the metal rod that won't slip away in the night.

Unfortunately, one came broken, and it didn't fit the wheels of my trash can.

Better stainless than some others. Less likely to work their way off the pin than others. So far so good.

I had returned these push locks because they did not fit the axle they were intended for. That said they are very good quality. My only criticism would be the pricey tag attached to them.
