Because it’s not rolled edges it doesn’t stay wet and rust in dishwasher

The handles make it a little tight fit for the oven which wasn’t taken in to consideration when ordering therefore, it has warped a little after 1st use. A little over priced however, does what it says in the tin for the purpose it is intended.

This is an excellent baking/roasting dish. Well worth paying the extra money as it will last.

Excellent light-weight baking tray. Very good for roasting a large joint or bird because it is not heavy to lift, especially as it has handles. Best of all is that it is so easy to clean, just need to soak for a little while then gently wipe away any burnt on fat. No need to scrub hard at all.
