My son had a cleft lip and palate repair and is not allowed to touch his face while he recovers. The one’s from the hospital were itchy, scratchy, bulky, and constantly fell off. These ones stay on and are much more comfortable. They gave him more movement but still prevented him from injuring his surgical sites.

Worked great for our daughter that had her first surgery for her cleft. The Velcro part is pretty sharp on the corners but we just put them on with the Velcro on the bottom.

Works as expected

I brought these braces for my daughter who used them for 6 weeks after a surgery. These held up well for the duration. They did show dirt and spilled food but didn’t take on an odor. We were able to hand wash the braces and they cleaned up relatively well. Air dried overnight without issue. The Velcro held up well and was easy to secure. There is a little bit of a learning curve to find the right tightness. Too loose, they slide down. Too tight they leave a mark. The gaps make it easy to check tightness and also allow air flow so the braces don’t get too hot. My one complaint is the end of the Velcro straps can peel up a bit and can be kind of sharp/irritating. If you have a kid who rubs their face with the brace you may need to place a cut up pair of socks over the braces. It prevents the irritation from the ends. This happened with braces we got from the hospital too so not a deal breaker. Overall they are much lighter and more comfortable than other versions we used.

My daughter had cleft palate surgery and needed to wear no-no’s for 4 weeks. The ones the hospital gave us didn’t fit great and were very hot, sweaty, and clunky. My daughter is 13 lbs, pretty small, I went with the smallest size. Would definitely purchase again.

We ordered the XS for our 13 month old and they worked perfectly for post surgery for cleft palate repair. Still allowed enough movement to play, move around, and get comfy in his crib but, if positioned correctly, prevented his fingers from getting in his mouth.

Great for cleft palate repair Recommend getting smallest size - fits my 8" sons elbow, does the job by preventing below from bending. Less material around the rest of the arm Much better than the clunky hospital braces they give you Light weight

Bought for my son’s surgery but never ended up using them. They have been great for other parents for their kids from what I’ve been hearing.
