Wasnt too hard to replace the screen. A lot of screws . But once it was on it worked like a charm. Great investment. Saved me a good chunk of change.. the screen is great

This product is a high quality replacement for the original. In fact the fingerprint reader works about the same % as the original. It also is almost identical in the quality of the screen, there are no notable differences when I'm watching videos. It's def worth the price. All that said make sure you read the description well. I made the mistake of not doing so. When it arrived I figured out that it's not just the screen replacement but rather it requires you to unscrew and move every single part from your old phones frame into this one. It's not a quick fix but there's videos on YouTube showing you the step by step process. If you take your time and follow each step you will be fine.

The video's on amazon are 90% correct skips two steps that are not hard to figure out! When you follow the video you will notice two sets of screws one one the left of the frame one on the right. Remove those last before trying to assemble on the new frame. I would install them last as well so they do not get in the way when installing circuit board on the new frame. Recommend having a screw driver with a magnetic tip! The kit comes with every thing you need! But a screw driver with a magnetic tip makes it easier to install the screw properly. Does not come with a new back cover. If that is cracked as well you might want to buy one while your at it. Remove the sim tray before you disassemble the phone as well. All blue plastic needs to be removed and that to preventing the adhesive from sticking to other stuff. Took me two hours to get done. I don't fix phones for a living. I used a hot ceramic coffee cup to make the adhesive soft enough to open worked better than a heat gun, or blow dryer. Inspect your battery while your there incase you need to replace it.

Screen is smaller l. This item does work. The issue is that the screen is not the same as before. So the shortened viewable area from the top and the bottom. There is a larger black area around the screen. I picked this one out of others because it cost more so I though it would be of better quality. It was NOT. Buyer beware. It should not be like this.

Works great, but black color struggles. Isnt as deep and crisp and you can see difference. Overall good fix.
