Perfect fit for 2" triclamp. Was perfect to accept my 1/2 inch thermometer in my homebrew setup. Made well and priced good. I am happy with this purchase.

Good deal

The fitting itself was well-made and costs a third or less than what I could get from a normal distributor. However, in the process of getting the part I needed, I received a wrong fitting twice (one was male when supposed to be female, and the next was 1.5" NPT instead of the 2" I ordered). DERNORD and Amazon worked quickly to fix the issue both times and I got what I needed, though it took a few extra days.

This is a nicely made stainless steel adapter for 2" TC to 1/2" NPT. So why? It is perfect for fitting a thermocouple to a 2" TC re-circulation system or to measure still head temperatures. Both of these sizes are common in home brewing. Made to last a lifetime it is resistant to most corrosive environments.

Great quality. Smooth polish with good machined surfaces. You will need to purchase a “rubber strap wrench” to hold the fitting while making connection to your threaded pipe side. Craftsman makes a 4” model that works well for this at a reasonable cost (and is handy for other uses).

There is not much to say about the product since it is a sanitary female threaded pipe fitting, but it works as it should. Product shipped quickly, I received what I ordered, and I would say service is excellent. Well worth the money for this fitting and I will be buying again.
