Excellent wireless mic, just be careful of speaker settings
Bought this microphone for use with my portable PA speaker which I take with me to open mic nights and it works wonderfully well, has a high level of gain inside the microphone so there's no need for a pre-amp, just plug the receiver directly into the speaker and it works like a charm. The vocal pickup range is crisp and clear, and there is no feedback when using the microphone whilst standing in front of the speaker (i.e. picks up my voice well and ignores any background music or other noises coming from the speaker). Only thing to be aware of is that you need to be careful with the speaker settings. My speaker has Treble and Bass controls which were set at 0dB (ranging from -12dB to +12dB). What I did find initially was that I was getting strong feedback from the microphone when the microphone input volume was at 20-25% or higher, even when there was no other audible noise around. I contacted the seller on Facebook to report this and after running through some standard diagnostic tests, it was suggested that I turn down the Treble and Bass controls to their minimum. As it so happens, minimising the Treble completely eliminated the feedback I was experiencing and allowed me to set the microphone input volume to a much higher level, similar to if I was using a wired microphone. So if you do purchase this microphone and experience feedback at low microphone input volume then try adjusting any Treble and Bass controls you may have on the speaker system to see if this makes a difference. This was in no way a fault of either the speaker or the microphone, simply a reflection that due to the high gain of the microphone (a necessity for dynamic microphones to work over long ranges) you may need to adjust your speaker settings to compensate.

Excellent Budget Wireless Mic
Extremely easy to set-up, simply plug the receiver into your PA, Mixer or Amp. Turn the mic and receiver on, the receiver light will glow orange when connected to the mic. Set the gain on your PA, Mixer or Amp and you're done. A fantastic solution for those looking for an affordable wireless microphone. Solid plastic construction, metal grill housing. A rubber grip ring is also provided to reduce hand fatigue for long periods of usage. Simply slide it over the microphone and now you can "hold" the mic by resting it on the top of your hand. PROS: * Sound quality is decent, although there is a strong proximity effect. (meaning you have to be really close to the mic to get a full sound) * Signal to noise ratio is actually pretty good for a mic of this price. (the internals self-noise is fairly low, which is good) * Well built despite being mostly plastic, everything is firm and feels solid. * Wireless range is great, providing there are no walls the signal has to pass through. CONS: * Susceptible to Plosives if your mouth is literally on top the grill. (When you say words being with P or T that push air into the capsule) * No included Pop-Shield (Helps get-rid of plosives) * No Included Batteries (Totally understandable, shipping items that contain flammable goods is a nightmare) Overall, well worth a look at. I've actually revied this product on my YouTube Channel. Feel free to search for "PoundSound FiFine K025"

BARGAIN UHF WIRELESS MICROPHONE - DJ REVIEW AND 80 FEET RANGE TEST
This microphone is FANTASTIC. NOTE: The full HD 1080P version of this review is on my Youtube Channel (DJ Blink-Blink) The microphone feels solid and you can see there has been a great attention to detail with it (they inscribed MIC at the button of the microphone). It also has a display screen that shows the channel and also flashes to warn you when the battery is low. I conducted a long range test and I can confirm the wireless range is more than the 80 feet (see video attached to this review or check my Youtube channel, DJ Blink-Blink for the long range test I conducted with the microphone). The microphone was also very clear, loud and there was no feedback at all from the speakers even when I was right beside my speakers. I like the length of the microphone (more surface area to hold) which reduces the risks of dropping the microphone. Comparing this microphone with other wireless microphones I have been using as a DJ, I would definitely recommend it to anyone. What you are getting for the price in regards to QUALITY is second to none and is definitely worth more than the price. This is definitely a 5 star product for me and I would recommend it to anyone planning to get a wireless microphone.

Good enough quality for the price. Will buy again.
Used at church for singing, in a small mixing desk. Works well, and quality is good enough for my needs. Keep your AAs and AAAs to hand when performing. I get 3-4 hours out of Duracells. The light on the receiver will flash when its batteries are low, so handy. Will probably buy more, especially as you can select channels.

Cracking value -but...
I bought this mic to supplement my "back-pack" documentary journo kit on the basis of solid reviews by others. I was looking for an inexpensive, perhaps expendable alternative, to the Sennheiser UHF system that I had used with total satisfaction for the past 4 years. The FiFine blurb and most of the user feedback I'd read seemed encouraging. The FiFine mic arrived promptly and, although a little taken aback by the cosh-like dimensions of the mic, I was impressed with the good build quality and the fact that it made use of easily obtainable AA and AAA batteries rather than built-in re-chargeables. Not so good was the small screen on the mic which seemed to convey little information beyond the mic's on/off status. UHF channels (within the mic's operating "band") could be swapped using a concealed push-button but there was no indication to advise the actual frequency in use at any one time. The range, up to 30 yards, was exactly as promised and the audio quality, as monitored by headphones off the amp, very good. Sadly with one flaw. At times of quiet -such as might be experienced during the outdoor interview sessions for which I needed such a mic- there was a clearly evident background hiss. After exhaustive, comparative tests, I concluded that this was down to inherent system noise within the FiFine's circuitry. I had experienced a similar limitation when trialling another, budget microphone/ receiver combo sold as "EIVOTOR 25". Maybe, buget mics of this format, use an identical "chip" in their internals? This intrusion would not have mattered in an inherently "noisy" scenario, such might be found at a bar or disco party, but for my more intimate purposes, it was a serious limitation to an otherwise great product. With regret, I decided to return the FiFine for refund. I'd be prepared to pay considerably more for an affordable wireless mic that had better spec s/n circuitry -say > 90 db. Until I find one, I'll be reverting to using my trusty, pro-grade Sennheiser -which performs faultlessly. But at 15x the price. I reckon I'll just have to ensure I never drop "Old Faithful" -or let it into the hands of an exuberant party-goer.

Good quality for this price
Pleasantly surprised with the decent quality for this price. For range, I've tried it up to about 20m from the base unit, it worked perfectly. I did not test the maximum range. I use it as a back-up, so I can't comment on battery life.

Incredible value for money
Really good mic for the money. The sound is surprisingly clear. No muffled boomy mid range typical of mics from this price point. Works perfect straight out of the box. Build quality is solid enough plastic. A few niggles which is why I gave it 4 stars. Have mentioned these in the video attached. Overall though a great mic for spoken word, conferences and speeches. Would be a good karaoke mic too. Nice one FIFINE!

Great Mic!
Bought this to use with my XDJ-RX2. Works as intended. Excellent sound quality and no issues regarding interference etc. I'm only using it within a couple metres of the receiver so I can't comment on the range capabilities.
