Great night light, my son loves it, can be a bit glitchy with the remote
I bought this for my autistic 3-year-old who's a little afraid of the dark. I think it's great. It's soft and I love the fact that you can change the brightness level of the light. He loves it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because even though the remote worked perfectly when we got it pretty quickly, a few of the buttons kind of started glitching out. For example, the power button will turn it off, but it will not turn it on anymore. I have to use the physical button on the actual toy to turn the light on. Once it's on though the rest of the buttons work and I can turn it off with the remote. Also, I'm not sure if this is user error or not, but without the remote I can't seem to get it to stay on a certain color. You're supposed to be able to cycle through the different colors and then you can kind of like bop on the top to get it to switch colors. But if I try to lock it on red without the remote, it just starts cycling through the colors on its own without being on that setting. If that makes sense. I have to turn it on with the button on the toy, then use the remote to select red and dim the light, and then go back to the toy to hit the button to lock it. In that setting. All of these things aren't a huge beauty deal and some of it could be user error. Maybe I'm not fully understanding the settings. Also none of this would stop me from buying it again, but just be aware. Make sure you keep a hold of the remote because if I lost it I wouldn't be able to dim the light or lock it on red which is the color he wants.

Great nightlight
Love the little light pets. Small functional and great use for a nursing light. Love how easy it is to use and love the brightness settings.

Great for kids but EXTREMELY sensitive
This replaced the original nightlight we had so our daughter is happy it's another penguin. Pros: 1. It's easy to grab (squishing the body in the process) to move it when needed. 2. USB-C charger (compatible with our other cords at home) 3. The settings are easy to adjust with the remote. The preferred option here is the Christmas tree button, with a gradual transition through the rainbow (no sudden color changes). Our daughter likes controlling the color choice. 4. The green or red light to let you know if the battery is charged or needs to stay plugged in. 5. It's cute and a good size. Cons: 1. Overly sensitive to motion--we're in the crib-to-bed transition phase and it often results in M sleeping on her crib mattress on our master bedroom floor. That being said, we'll put the penguin on the floor to reduce the brightness for ourselves but not for her. If you walk near it, set the remote down too hard next to it, dare to tap a single finger on the floor, smack the floor or stomp...the setting changes. [The last motion being intentional to fix it when it gets messed up but I'm sitting on the floor with M.] In our case, the tree setting is the last before it turns off so the room goes black. It's way too easy to trigger it to change, to the point that keeping it where you want it to stay takes very intentional effort to not disturb the penguin at all. When we put it on our bedside table it's moderately better but not great there either. The best option is on top of a dresser but it's too bright for me and only works when M's willing to sleep in her own bed/room. That means she can't control the setting because she can't aim the remote high enough (vertical dresser, 5 drawers high). Summary: There are some good perks to this product but the motion sensitivity issue is making me regret my purchase. I'm likely going to look into a different option. 2. The power button has to be used to turn it on THEN you can use the remote. I knew that from a previous review but didn't realize how annoying that'd be when trying to fix it after yet another unintentional shut-off.

Button battery
A great nightlight, but parents be warned the remote has a button battery in it. I couldnโt find that anywhere in the reviews or product descriptions before purchasing.

Cute lamps
Installation has been made easy to use. When placing the lamp to any surface such a desk or table. The led remote is simply wonderful. All the colors are very bright.Even when changing to different colors. The penguin lamps are true to size. Touch control of the penguin lamps are soft.
