Make your rug a lot safer
I can't speak to the efficacy on other flooring surfaces, but on hardwood this pad sticks almost like adhesive, but comes off easily if it needs to be moved. An absolute must-have product if kids or old folks or spastic dogs regularly traverse the rug on one's wooden floors.

Just what I needed, but it smells.
Fits my round rug perfectly and keeps it from sliding. My only disdain is the smell. It smells like some sort of chemical and it’s really pungent. Other than the smell, it does exactly what it is intended to do.

Wearing well
An excellent quality rug, using it by our front door, lots of traffic and it's holding up great after 6 months. If you're going to be putting it on hard wood or tile I would get a non slip mat to go under it, the backing is not grippy at all.

This doesn’t move around very much considering I have 3 cats that run around playing on my rugs. The material reminds me of drawer liners. Very easy to install. I appreciate the size for my small rug
