Isolated at the South Pole with no communication with the rest of the world, a band of survivors discovers a Kharkovchanka snow tractor with three dead Russians inside. When the frozen Russians thaw out and attack them, they soon comprehend the reason for the eerie radio silence. Now, some of them are turning zombie as well, devouring their former friends and colleagues. Faced with a frozen death at the base of the world, or a dangerous journey to McMurdo Base, they choose McMurdo. They soon discover that they may have made the wrong choice. Review: A great sequel - Back to Antartica with another set of great characters, but still the occasional view of how those who have already fled the cold. As you read the book you can feel the two stories coming together as both sets of characters in Antartica and Australia have different bits of the jigsaw. Steve Review: Had potential but the characters were too annoying - Really hard to believe that a group of scientists living in the harsh conditions of the south pole would act like idiotic illiterates when faced with a new, incredible although scary situation

Great location
Antarctica is a great place for the setting. The isolation brings suspense. Excellent character development. Plausible way of the zombies staying functional.

Keep em coming
When this book started off I was really excited to see general Scott's ass get it! But after the first book I always wondered what happened in America, besides knowing the zombie attack. And I thought that was where this book was headed. Then it goes right back to Antarctica. It was a great book though. Very few type o's. writer keeps focused as he weaves his tale. Good characters and plot. I'm about to check out some of your other books. FYI the heart is center chest and off to the left, not the right. Keep them coming, I really enjoyed both books! But what happened in America after general Scott got toasted?

Better than most.
I found this a good read. Holds your attention with well developed action and suspense. While most stories in this genre just have zombies appearing with no explanation, J.E. Gurley provides the reader with that missing information.

Ice Station Zombie 2
I really enjoyed the first book so I gave this a try. Very good. For some reason Antarctica fascinates me so this was spot on. The way the zombies "came to be" was also interesting. Lots of zombies, lots of gore, people running around like mental cases. There's no Rambo in the book which is refreshing. I appreciate that these books are not going to go on with sequel after sequel...... I mean, how many sequels can you read. And just trying to remember which book is which.... tiring. I recommend this book to fellow zombifiles. .

A GREAT STORY!
Hello, Let me start by stating that this guy can tell a story. I really liked this book. You need to read the first before this one, it will help you understand every thing better. The characters are well written. You cares who lives or dies. Read it and I think you will most definately enjoy it. Just my opinion. Thanks.
