This item was delivered promptly and well packaged. I bought it primarily to use on the caravan to keep a check on any damp problems, it works perfectly and will help to detect problems early if they occur. It's very small and compact with a handy back light to see the readings clearly and is at a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend this brilliant little product and the seller!

Just bought this damp meter to keep a check on my caravan interior following problems with the seals. I must say for such a small size device it does a great job, no need to insert the prongs into the surface of the caravan it's sensitive enough to detect any moisture that may be present, therefore causing no unsightly holes. Any sign of damp and it's a phone call to the dealer for an extensive check with their far more expensive equipment. I like it.

Nice and easy to use - but: temperature readings are way out, by 5 or more degrees C; and I was not aware that moisture readings were limited to <2%, which is not helpful in a really damp room (lots of "Outside limits" readings).

Great little device. Simple to use and switches its self off once you stop using it. One complaint, the batteries were virtually dead on arrival. This is a fairly common problem if you look at the reviews on the tester. It's not a major problem ( 10 LR44 cells cost a pound on line) but it is a bit irritating. I would rate the device 5 star but the duff cells knock off one of these.

I was inspired to purchase one of these meters to check if my motor home had damp as there was no visual signs of a problem. I was further encouraged by the positive feed-back via your Reviews. But when the meter arrived I put it to the test with the thermometer function. I placed it over night alongside two trusted thermometers I have been using for years, in the morning the Zevek showed a 4c discrepancy, so I repeated the test and the result was a 5c discrepancy. I now query the accuracy of the moisture function as I have no means of comparison to see if this is in fact a correct reading. I asked for a telephone number to seek advise and discuss the problem, the reply was "They have no outside lines" So with regret I will have to return the Moisture Meter AS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE despite the glowing reviews. It does pose a question, Have other users compared its accuracy with other thermometers and moisture meters? I would be interested to know. A.J.W.

PLUS POINTS: fairly priced compared with others, nice size to fit the hand, feels solidly built with 2 strong probes, handy wrist strap should it fall from your hand, easy to remove protective probes cover but firm enough not to fall off, clear and good sized LCD display screen, easy to operate/understand on/off mode button, easy to fit/remove batteries, part yellow cover case nice and bright to see,and lifetime guarantee. MINUS POINTS: non rechargeable batteries but the four LR44`s are cheap enough not to be of concern.

Meter is light, compact with an easy to read backlit display. Batteries are supplied. Unit is very easy to use with a single button to select and modify settings. It also turns itself off automatically after a few seconds of inactivity. Two short downloadable ebooks are also available giving useful tips on damp in caravans and timber for wood burning stoves. Excellent friendly and helpful after sales follow up by supplier. Unit arrived very promptly. Well pleased.

Disappointing as I bought this to measure the potential damp in caravan walls. The range for the reading is between 0.2% and 2.0% with no explanation or guide as to the meaning. I took a reading of 0.4% which is normal percentage terms (ie 0-100%) is negligible but in a range with a maximum of 2.0% means what ????
