Chickpea Butter Spread - Crunchy (12 Oz)

Taste just like peanut butter maybe even better! And, NO soybeans!!!! Yay! So many people are allergic to soybeans so it’s not an alternative option for many as it’s on The Big 8 List!!! (Of allergens) This brand of chickpea butter is delicious my son finally has a replacement for peanut butter which he is allergic to. He loves this crunchy version and also their traditional smooth version. I also love that it doesn’t require refrigeration and only contains 3 ingredients: roasted chickpeas, 4 grams sugar & olive oil! Yay! No soybean oil!!! Thank you to The Amazing Chickpea Company for making this mama so happy!

This is truly the closest product I've found to peanut since I found out I was allergic! The consistency is similar! It doesn't separate, which I like! The flavour isn't spot on but it does taste like those peanut butter sugar cookies. (Which is, I'm sure why they advertise using this to make them! They already taste exactly like them!) But my favourite part is how low the sugar content is!! This really is my favourite "protein" sandwich spread. Honestly, when you first taste it, the flavour comes across as stale peanut butter, but the PB Sugar Cookie taste takes over fairly quickly and eventually grows on you!

It's close to peanut butter in consistency. I don't too much need that but it's nice. I know some are looking for as close to peanut butter while not being peanut butter, that's why I said that. The taste is fantastic as well. Really enjoy the product

I can’t believe it’s not peanut butter. It taste even better. Just bought a set of The Amazing Chickpea i.e. Crunchy, Creamy and Choc’A’Chic and the taste are all Superb. It passed my expectations. No more peanut butter for me, I will go to healthy The Amazing Chickpea.

ALLERGY WARNING: CONTAINS SUNFLOWER SEEDS! I am allergic to all nuts and seeds and was very disappointed when this arrived and I couldn't eat it, especially for the price. I love the Traditional flavor and haven't had any reaction from that. Make sure you read the ingredients carefully like I should have! It tastes fantastic...until you have to start taking Benadryl. If you aren't allergic to seeds, this is a great product, but not for those with allergies. I will keep buying the Traditional.

This caught my eye as an alternative to nut butters. The sunflower seeds really do add a nice crunch and it’s easy to spread. There isn’t much sugar in it, but I would still prefer a less sweet version. Others may disagree though. Not thrilled that it has Palm oil in it. (Yeah I should’ve checked the ingredients more closely!) So far I’ve only eaten this plain or spread on half an apple and it’s pretty satisfying but there’s something about it I can’t pinpoint; it just has something a little “off” with the flavor.

I bought this for my grown son that has never had peanut butter because of his allergies to nut. He love’s this Chickpea Butter Spread and has bought many more.

Good flavor, taste a lot like PEANUT butter. Very very hard to mix,, the oil had separated. Oil had leaked out of cover in transit, not terrible but a mess.
