Love the system and an unexpected find! Great sound, great looks, easy setup, perfect for my room. Enjoying my old CDs from 20 - 30 years ago, as well as lossless audio from my phone using the AUX port. I considered Panasonic, and was ready to shell out hundreds of dollars for a similar system from Denon, but they don’t have an AUX port which is needed to listen to lossless audio from Apple Music files on my phone. I was lucky to be looking right at the time it was discounted > $100, so I’m super happy with the purchase! (Written on day 2 after receiving system - hopefully will last without problems for a few years.)

I was a little reluctant after reading some non-US reviews under another listing mainly because of the CD player since that was the main reason for purchasing this unit (this system has been available in Europe for 1-2 years but only newly available in the US). But I finally took a chance. This sleek system sounds good, much better than the other mini stereo system I previously reviewed. Internet radio is great! And the CD player is working on this one (so far at least but always the first component to go). I had an issue connecting to internet radio that I figured out after trying to contact Philips (I got it work after selecting update time via network and a timezone). Called Philips 5x and was disconnected 4x before reaching anyone. The only time I was able to reach someone, the call was disconnected. So don't expect any real support from Philips. A side note--the full user manual is only available online. Boggles my mind why it wasn’t included since there’s a lot of info and printing it out used a lot more paper than a small booklet would have.

I got it for remote, Internet radio (I stream WXPN.org and WRTI.org) and its compact size. This system has a full, rich sound, ample power but can sound a bit muddy on certain terrestrial radio frequencies. Otherwise, this system is a grand solution for my home office.

This little compact stereo has pleasantly surprised us. Very impressed with its ease of function and especially the sound. It has surprisingly deep bass for such small speakers. This little system is well worth the money. We are absolutely satisfied with this purchase.

Bought this for my mom for her birthday last year so she could listen to CDs while around the house. It's a really nice unit, with great sound quality, and had lots of bonus features, like digital radio stations, mp3 capabilities, etc. that all seem to work really well. Out of the box setup was easy, and it looks great on the shelf without a huge footprint. Highly recommended.

Very pleased with this stereo system. I'm a baby boomer and I still prefer the sound Quality you get with a stereo system. Classy looking unit also. Great buy!

The cd player doesn't read either commercial cds or cd-rs. The connection to Wifi was unresponsive. The menu said to choose "Select" for WPS but there was no "select" option either on the remote or the actual unit. I've been through product support and they were no help. This thing gets good reviews and I have an older lower level Phillips player that has been dependable and good quality sound for the money. So, considering how much it cost, this is a big disappointment. I wanted bluetooth connectivity to headphones and Rufus said this could do it as it had a built in transmitter but if I can't play cds, it's a moot point as to whether I can get it to work.
