Natural Fruit, Herb and Spice Jam USDA Organic Herbal Spread - 14 Ounce

If you're going to spread something on a low carb, healthy "bread", I think this is a great choice. I really like the taste and love the ingredients. Lots of ingredients, which is why it's expensive....but I believe, WORTH IT. Check it out. I'm glad I found it.

UPDATE: I re-ordered another jar and it tastes wonderful. I will continue to use this on a daily basis. I've used other products from ISHA over time which helped improve my overall health. Unfortunately the jar's vacuum seal had been broken in transit despite that it had a clear platic wrapping on the lid. Could've happened with extreme weather or pressure changes. When I fully opened the jar, it was obvious it had been spoiled because of the bad odour. It is important, as with any jarred food product, to make certain that it *pops* when twisting off the jar lid. In this case it didn't because it lost it's vacuum seal as you can see in the attached photo. I fully opened it the moment it arrived and the product's content had already came into the inner sides of the lid also indicating a broken vacuum. The exchange process is different, must speak with Amazon to get an Amazon credit, which Amazon promptly did. Instead of taking a risk of getting another damaged jar, I opted to order ISHA tea instead of which I'm happy with. I'll likely re-order this product directly from ISHA.

Loved it! Ordered 3x so far. Tried it as a spread on toast, in warm milk as recommended, and experimented as a flavoring in coffee, tea, and baking. If this is your intro to chyawanprash & ayurvedics in general, the sweet/sour taste, dark color, and texture of this jam may take getting used to. As with most natural products, variation in consistency is to be expected from batch to batch, e.g., the chunky bits noted by other users is due to natural crystallization of the honey. Expiration date, shipping and room temperatures may also affect consistency. Health benefits of ayurvedic products vary from individual to individual, but I did notice subtle improvement in energy, digestion, & mental function, sustained through the day, without the jitters associated with caffeine. I do agree with some reviewers about the seal on the jar needing upgrading, and/or better packaging for shipping. Grateful to Isha Life and Foundation, which purchases of their products help to support.

Perfect immunity supplement. It does taste like jam. Label says all Indian Ayurvedic ingredients which makes me really happy. I thought it was overpriced and that’s why giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. I have a spoonful daily with warm water. Sugar content is low which is the best part of a serving.

Taste is okay, not great. Take it because of trust more than knowing if this is any good for you. Perhaps this is just overpriced Jam using Sadhguru's name for prophet. Would like to see the price come down to something reasonable.

A good friend introduced me to chyawanprash, swearing by it’s benefits. I bought this one out of familiarity and trust with Isha and Sadhguru. I literally feel a difference after a week. Significantly more energy, I feel alert, more positive outlook, simply waking up really joyful, all good things! I’m taking this every morning. Give it a try.

This is one of very few Organic Chywanaprasham prepared by a company affiliated to the Spiritual Master Sadhguru. Not only is this product effective, it does reduce stress. Had to go through a tough period of few weeks in my life. Usually, I back out and switch myself out of the situation. But, this Chywanaprasham not only helped me combat stress but also provided snore-less sleep. It has the maximum number of ingredients in it and tastes slightly different from the Chywanaprash that you get elsewhere. The main ingredient claimed by the makers is Amla (Gooseberry). The Pippali (Long pepper) tingling tongue sensation that is common in Chywanaprash is not there in this product.
