Maybe for warm or cooled down dishes, but I would not advise it for straight off the stove.

I would like to replace the 12 x 12 tiles on my patio table. Is this tile ok under direct sunlight and high heat?

I love how they color up our patio table. They will handle the heat no problem, but unfortunately, in direct sunlight they will definitely fade.

I want to put something outside to stop weeds and ivy growing. Can I put this on the ground for that ?

I don't think it's a real good idea. They're 12in by 12in so you need quite a few of them and they're way too pretty for that kind of usage. I would recommend weed barrier and mulch instead.
