Henle is one of the better music publishers, and I was very pleased to get this edition of one of Beethoven's most famous piano sonatas for so cheap.

Whenever I can I always buy Henle Verlag urtext music scores. They are clearly printed, have sympathetic and well considered page turns and the books stay open and don't fall apart. Highly recommended.

This is not just (accurate) score for moonlight sonata, but also a book about the historical background to this piece, with all relevant info including a sample of Beethoven's original score. A treasure. Obviously, all the other attributes that go with every Henle edition apply here: clean, easy to read score, fingering where needed, and above all - no errors. Don't go for cheaper scores, they always have something wrong with them. Save some money, but buy Henle, always.
