where is the d-mannose derived from?

It is my understanding that it is a type of sugar - -but most all of it passes through without sticking around -- and when it gets to bladder, the bacteria attaches to it on its way out of your body.

Is this sourced from cranberry, apple, pineapple, peach, sweet potato, birch wood, beech wood?? Anyone know??

cranberry I believe. My mother had chronic urinary tract infections and these have reduced them dramaticaly! Cannot recommend this product enough so please try them. Her urologist says there IS scientific evidence with double blind study that it does work. You would have to drink a huge amount of cranberry juice daily to get close to the concentrated level these pills provide.

What is the actual physical size of the capsule? Like measurements.

I don't have a tape measure handy but it's the diameter of a quarter...pretty large. I think if you go to the Swanson website(not the store)they show you the actual size. I have a little trouble swallowing them so I usually open the cap and mix it into something. It doesn't taste bad...it's just sweet.
