Does this drain basket come in a 3-1/2" size?

3.5 is the outer diameter of the “flange”

Why is this called a "Duostrainer". Is this different from a regular Kohler strainer?

Weather this is a duo strainer or not this strainer is a piece of junk. I have gone through 3 of them after a little while it no longer holds the water in sink. I have no choice cause no other strainer fits my Kohler sink. If I ever have to replace my sink it WON’T be a Kohler brand. Try to find a different brand to fit your sink if possible.

My strainer measures 3 1/2" across top. Will it fit my kohler sink

You will have to measure the inner diameter of the "hole" vs the outer diameter of the strainer (over the rubber gasket). to make sure there is a snug fit. This will assure that the gasket can work as a plug.

This strainer causes the water to go down slow because the middle part drops down too low, I love the new strainer, how can I fix that?

Two ways; one is to turn the knob until the plunger is at its highest point which allows the water to drain and two is to slightly cock the strainer in the drain. This allows food to be trapped in the strainer and also allows the water to flow into the drain.
