No app for 5Spro in India.
If you happen to be in India please do not buy this product. It turned out to be a useless product even though I paid a premium for it, as the current app does not support 5SPro in India. I am hugely disappointed as such products are allowed to be sold on the platform inspite of the product being not fully supported to be functional. As a consumer this I feel cheated by not being informed correctly before purchasing.

Buena cámara… mala interfaz.
Me considero muy bueno con tecnología, sin embargo tomé más de una hora y media en configurar la cámara ya que la aplicación es una pesadilla. La cámara funciona muy bien y tiene muy buena calidad de video, pero para poder usar todo lo que ofrece, es necesario una suscripción. Ya que es una cámara Wi-Fi, si se te va la luz no quedará el video guardado en ningún lugar, a pesar de ser una cámara inalámbrica con batería integrada. Las notificaciones inteligentes se pueden configurar iguales para todo un grupo de cámaras y no diferentes por cámara. No lo volveré a comprar por los costos elevados de la suscripción y la mala interfaz de la aplicación.

Bought three Pro 5S cameras a week ago, batteries drained 27%, 24%, 17% in ONE day
UPDATE TO REVIEW: After returning all the Arlo devices listed below and replacing them with Eufy cameras and a home security system, which were a delight to add/install, with well-written and illustrated instructions (which Arlo doesn't provide), I realized their tech support is doing the best they can with deficiently engineered products. The issues I experienced are mentioned often on the Arlo Community website, so it's not the tech support team's fault they can't make defective products work. Unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of your life trying to get Arlo devices to work, do a hard pass on their devices. I ran three PRO 4 CAMERAS for years, with no issues, and have had nothing BUT issues with the three PRO 5S CAMERAS and HOME SECURITY SYSTEM I bought a week ago, including: -- abysmally bad support for multiple malfunctioning products -- they don't know their own products, so just keep giving you the same (wrong) instructions, over and over again, and/or fruitlessly resetting/reinstalling devices, over and over again -- for hours and hours of frustration -- PRO 5S CAMERA batteries drained 27%, 24%, 17% in ONE day -- HOME SECURITY SYSTEM SENSORS don't make a sound unless you forcibly remove them from the door (not even loudly slamming the door works, but yank the sensors off the door, and the alarm works fine) -- ARLO COMMUNITY lists the exact same issues (batteries draining, sensors not working), with no resolutions -- the video recordings in the Feeds selection in their app will only open and display recordings for the current day; clicking on other days in the pop-up calendar does nothing -- many forums and Google searches state device problems can be resolved by joining their paid monitoring service -- Dedicated SecureLink -- but it had zero effect on the issues listed above I've tried every troubleshooting process I can find on the Arlo app, in my.arlo.com, in the Arlo community forum, in many Chats, and in the endless emails their tech support reps send me with the exact same (wrong) instructions and resources that didn't work during the Chat. No resolution to any issue.

Good camera to add coverage in hard to reach places; Recommend solar panel to keep battery charged
Around our home, we've owned a lot of security cameras over the years. I picked up this Arlo camera several years ago to help cover a 'dead spot' in our coverage around the house. Given that it was wireless and battery powered, I felt it was a good alternative to running power and network to location that was a bit further away from the house. Installation and setup was relatively straightforward. The image quality was good and I was happy that it includes audio. The cameras hold up well to the weather, which is nice given that we've seen some cameras that fail over time. I'm giving this product 4 stars because of the battery life. After about 18 months, the battery started failing, only providing a few weeks of power with each charge. Having the pull the battery out simply to charge it frequently is a pain. I added a solar panel to the camera, plus a new battery, and it's like having a new camera. I never have to worry about the battery dying. The app for Arlo cameras is very good; I have ours configured to give me notifications when there's movement detected by the camera and a recording is availble. All in all, it's a good camera to help provide coverage where you may be lacking coverage. However I will state that having a solar panel from the beginning makes a huge difference.

Cold shuts them down.
I have three Arlo Pro 5s cameras. Several times two of them have shout down because of low temps. This morning (1/29/2026) at about 0 degrees, all three have shut down. I have three older Arlo Pro cameras two on A/C power and one on battery and they are all working fine.
