Is this a cream colour or white

Mine were white.Not an issue as I then emulsions them in a different colour.

Is this paper plain and smooth or has it got a texture/pattern on it

No pattern or texture. It's thick because I wanted to cover an uneven wall surface. I painted over it and the wall looks great.

How is the paper graded and what is best

The higher the grade the heavier the paper. If your walls r rough go for the heavier paper.
