Dorm Room Supplies - Brand I Trust!
I purchased this Anker power strip for my daughter's dorm room, and it has been a great addition. It's definitely more expensive than many other power strips, but Anker is a brand I trust, and the build quality shows. The 10-foot cord, flat plug, six outlets, and mix of USB-A and USB-C ports make it perfect for charging all of her devices without needing extra adapters. The only downside is the higher price, but if you're looking for a reliable, well-made power strip for a dorm or home office, I think it's worth the investment.

A Lesson in Power, Space, and Necessary Compromise
Dateline: Under a Desk, in a Tangle of Wires, 3:52 AM. Down here in the dark, dusty netherworld of cable management, there is a constant, brutal war for space. Power bricks the size of small fists fight for dominance, and thick, unruly cords conspire to create a rat’s nest of pure chaos. To bring order to this domain, you need a special kind of weapon. A tool designed for tight spaces and desperate situations. You need the Anker Flat Plug Power Strip. The form factor is the first thing that hits you. It is a work of pure, unadulterated genius. The plug itself is flat, a slim wafer that lies flush against the wall, allowing you to shove a desk or a bookshelf right up against it without leaving a massive, ugly gap. It is a masterpiece of spatial negotiation. The strip itself is a long, thin, elegant slab, a far cry from the chunky, awkward power bars of yesteryear. It slides into the narrow confines of a cable cubby like a secret agent on a stealth mission. And it is a hydra. A 10-in-1 beast of connectivity. Six proper AC outlets, ready for your monitor, your computer, your lamp, your whole menagerie of electricity-hungry hardware. And then there are the USB ports—two A’s, two C’s—a built-in charging station that promises to eliminate the need for a whole mess of extra wall warts. It is a one-stop-shop for taming the digital chaos. But here, my friends, is where we must have a frank discussion. A moment of clarity. A look at the fine print of reality. The USB-C ports are capable of a glorious, high-velocity rapid charge. They can resurrect a dying phone with shocking speed. But only if you use one at a time. The moment you plug a second device into the USB bank, a negotiation takes place deep within the soul of the machine. The power is divided. The rapid charge surrenders, replaced by a slower, more democratic trickle. This is not a flaw; it is a law of this particular universe. It is a power-sharing arrangement. To expect this slim, elegant strip to deliver a full-blast, rapid charge to four devices simultaneously is to ask too much of physics and good sense. And once you understand that rule, once you accept that one, single compromise, the Anker Flat Strip reveals itself for what it is: a brilliant, specialized tool. It is the perfect command center for the modern desk, a master of spatial efficiency, and a capable, if not god-like, charging hub. Shoved under my desk in its little cave, it has brought a quiet, organized peace to a once-chaotic jungle. It is a fantastic power strip, a marvel of design. You just have to know the rules of the game. And for anyone who can read the damn signs, it’s a clear and absolute winner.

Finally, a true packable outlet strip
Have been searching for a travel outlet strip for a while that wasn't a real estate hog - and this is it. The flat design makes it packable at the bottom or on top across everything in my roller. It definitely has a quality feel, the cord is flat and flexible enough to accommodate weird angles. Surge protection switch for sensitive electronics like computers and gaming systems - ample number of outlets and USB ports for all your charging needs. The 5' cord and the flat plug makes it easier to reach behind a nightstand or bed for an outlet in most hotel rooms. Would hate to leave it by accident so I went with the white colored version. It's still a 5 from me because it met my needs for packing. But some might take a star off for the power indicator light - it is super bright at night - almost like a night light - great for some people. Just not me so I just put a dimming sticker on it.

Amazing for my backpack and portable desk setup for work and school
This power strip has been a great addition to my setup. The flat plug design is perfect for tight spaces and fits easily behind furniture. It has plenty of outlets and the extra USB ports are really convenient for charging devices without needing extra adapters. Everything feels solid and well built. Great combination of functionality and quality. Definitely a reliable option for everyday use.

Can't go wrong with Anker
I got 2 of the Anker Power Strips with 300J surge protection for use with my aquariums, and they’ve been working great. With multiple tanks, I needed something that had both standard outlets and USB ports to handle heaters, air pumps, lights, UV lights, and filters all in one setup. These have been perfect for that. Everything plugs in cleanly, and I like having the USB ports available for smaller devices and accessories. You can also immediately feel the quality—these are heavy, solid units that don’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. Big fan of Anker in general, and these are another example of why. Reliable, well-built, and exactly what I needed for my aquarium setups.

just the right size power strip
It has a button to turn on and off, as well as two indicator lights - one for ON and the other to show active surge protection. I previously used those clamp type power strips but I never knew what wire I was grabbing. This has been a great alternative and is super convenient. The form factor is a huge plus as it's compact. Because of that only suggest it for areas that don't have a lot of electronics and definitely wouldn't use for a desk/computer setup that has a lot of powered accessories as the various plug sizes would likely not fit. My only gripe and this will not affect everyone but I had to orient it upside down horizontally because the wall outlet is to the right. Another option was to put it vertical but then the usb ports would be at the top. Not a dealbreaker of course though! No complaints about charging; it has been great!

Best Power Strip in the Market
Anker products always rock, not only in design but also in versatility and functionality. This power strips is the best, 6 AC ports, plus 2 Fast Charging USB-C ports and 2 USB-A ports gives more than enough to cover all the power needs you may have with your devices. I was almost forgetting, it has enough room between AC ports to accommodate even wide chargers

Works well and looks nice
Great power strip. I use it on my nightstand and it looks great. I like that it has multiple USB ports so I can charge various devices at the same time. I also like the flat plug, since I didn't have enough space for a regular plug between my nightstand and the wall.

great as an unobtrusive desktop power bar
It works nicely as an unobtrusive desktop power bar, where its low profile and small footprint are its real advantages. As for the USB charging ports, just check in advance whether they will meet your needs. Here is a quick summary of the USB ports (info is from the Anker website): When you only have one device plugged in and you use the USB-C port on the left, it can deliver 20W using the Power Delivery (PD) standard; if you use the USB-C port on the right, it can deliver 15W using the PowerIQ (IQ) standard. Either of the USB-A ports can deliver 12W using the IQ standard. Once you have multiple devices plugged in at once, they share power and max out at 15W shared. If you need more power, just plug your regular charger into one of the six 120V outlets and charge that way. Overall, I'm really pleased with the convenient size and versatility.

Sleek and functional
This power bar is so sleek that it changes the perception of what a power bar should look like. It has just the right amount of outlets and USB ports for an office desk, to cover your computer/laptop + monitors + a set of powered speakers or printer, etc. Brand name recognition, power surge protection, flat plug - it has everything most people would want for a home office setup. Sure you can clamp a basket or rail under your desk for a more permanent setup, but if you're often plugging/unplugging things, this may be your best above-desk option.
