Half the price and works just as well. At first I did force it in far enough and the. It wouldn't rest up in the space right. It did not leak but it also did immediately shut the water off. Once I made sure it was installed on both ends all the way, it's perfect! Will definitely buy again.

Great filters. Work just fine, no leaking. After installing make sure to remember to immediately flush the water system using at least a gallon. If you didn't flush through at least one gallon of water, then don't complain about dirty water. Would buy again, good product.

I just replaced my original LG filter with this compatible filter a couple days ago. It fit perfectly and works as well as the LG. The new filter came with clear instructions, but they were just a little different from the instructions in my refrigerator manual, so I followed the manual.

Second time buying this brand to replace the water filter in my LG fridge. Work great. Easy to install. My fridge starts to blink at me after 6 months and reminds me to replace it. Could probable go longer - no noticeable decline in water quality after 6 months. You do need to flush the system/filter with about a gallon of water after installation. Will buy again!

While these are a great deal, they really don't filter the way the name brand does. Our water would taste better with no filter than it does using these. Our water now has a mineral-like dirt-like taste that isn't present if we get water out of the sink faucet. The taste is very noticeable in ice. Save your money for a better filter.

This filter is great and a lot less expensive than the one i could have purchased at Lowes, Home Depot or Penny's. Easy to install one twist and it it in the refrigerator. It like getting two for the price of one.

These filters for my LG fridge are significantly less expensive than the LG OEM filters. I installed this in October. I ran the water for maybe 3 or 4 16oz glasses to clear up the water. After that, the water was fine: clear and not filter taste. I installed the second filter today and again just ran 3 glasses of water and things seem fine.
