Lower your tall YZ125 YZ125X seat and suspension with a lowering link

I never write product reviews so that should tell you something… good or bad. But you already looked at the star rating. Ok, now you did. Product arrived a day early just in time for install before hitting the trails this weekend. I have a 23 yz125x and I’m not a tall guy (5’9” when I stand up straight with a 32” inseam) but it sure is a tall bike. I didn’t feel as safe as I wanted to so I looked into this. As advertised, it’s 40mm lower and the ground is well within reach. Install was super simple. The instructions don’t have pictures but if you need pictures, you probably shouldn’t be working on this type of stuff anyway. Which brings me to the reason for my review… The small personal touch goes a long way in customer service. I’m sure it’s a simple line of code to edit the instructions when (“someone”) from (“somewhere”) orders one of these. But they start off with my name! My name says “hey we care about the people who buy our products”. And while I was installing it, I thought, I should check the chain because the tension will change. And there it is, at the very bottom. “Don’t forget to check chain tension before riding around (my home town)” 2 small personal touches are the difference between companies like this and the “make a buck/goodbye” companies. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. They’ve proven they’re real people, who sell to and care for real people. Your small touches are noticed and appreciated Yamalink! Thank you! Frank

Installation on our yz125 was quick and easy. Dropped the height just enough enabling my 12yr old to get on/off and start without issue.

Attempted to install on my 2021 yz125 and the shock cannot be bolted on. There isn’t enough clearance and the bolt won’t go thru. Attempting to file down the center section to still use it
