Good value for money product
Still using it but this jar was exactly as described and arrived well packaged. I didn't think the temperature gauge on the side of the jar would work but it is working and so far on day 3 my sourdough starter seems to be growing. Very good product for the price and maybe the start of an interesting hobby for me.

High Quality Amazing Sourdough Kits
Such high quality; a well done kit!Once in a while companies come along that just do things so well that they become a favorite brand. Abioto is my favorite sourdough supplies brand. I have the bannetons kit, 24 oz, and 40 oz starter kits.The painted indicators on the outside of the jar are clear and haven't rubbed off or changed. I've washed it repeatedly. The same for the temperature strip, that I was concerned might come off even with hand washing. Love the extra temp strip provided.I love the spatula, as it easily scrapes the jar with simple circular, go around the jar movements, versus my old way of doing it having to scrap over and over from the top of the jar toward the bottom. So much faster just holding the spatula and turning the jar and spatula in a circle!The cloth cover is well made. The hard jar lid, for when stirring in the fridge, fits well. I'd like it to be thicker, although it hasn't dented or otherwise shown wear.I have no idea if the size of this jar (24 oz) has anything to do with it, but the starter that I made in this jar always does better than the starter that I did before in Mason jars.The bannetons kit is gorgeous. Really nice cloth on the bannetons, and a handy brush! The bannetons are just the right size for my artisan bread done in my 6 qt. dutch oven. Everything in the kit is high quality.Love Abioto, love these kits!

Klar könnte man seinen Sauerteig auch in irgendeinem Glas heranzüchten. Brotbacken ist bei mir ein Ritual und dazu sollen perfekte Requisiten gehören. Dieses Glas ist von hoher Qualität und perfekt für meine Ansprüche gestaltet, es sieht nicht nur schön aus, sondern ist durch und durch praktisch durchdacht.
