The alcohol taste was SO strong, it was almost like drinking a shot, and not a pleasant one but more like I imagine rubbing alcohol would taste. In addition, the very thin layer of chocolate had completely separated from the very thick toffee. It was inedible, even for a bourbon lover, and we sadly ended up throwing it out. I was expecting a thinner toffe with thicker chocolate that was actually attached to the toffee, with a nice hint of bourbon, but what we got was an expensive waste of money. Review: Terrible. - It tastes like cleaning fluid and it's chewy, not hard like toffee should be. Then, I read the ingredient list and it has "bourbon flavoring" and not actual bourbon. I guess that explains why it tastes nothing like Bourbon. Plus, no return policy so I'd go elsewhere if I were you.

Terrible.

Did not like this toffee!
I bought this for a birthday present and did not read the other review. I love the flavor of toffee and bourbon. This candy tastes like chemicals. This was a waste of my money.
