One of the best sea salt shampoos you’ll find.
This clarifying shampoo/salt scrub is great! I have super thick hair that’s past my bra strap, this spread and lathered throughout my scalp no problem and did an excellent job cleaning my scalp and hair. All the dry shampoo I used for two days (its brown tinted for my dark hair) came right out. You don’t need much, this stuff really lathers and the salt crystals feel nice. I used about a quarter sized ball for my thick, long hair and I probably could have done a pinch less if I wanted to sacrifice a little of the exfoliation. The texture is paste like and concentrated. Put the shampoo on your scalp (I sectioned my hair horizontally across the back of my head and rubbed some on my scalp back there too) and then add more water to start scrubbing/lathering. The trick is adding a little more water after it’s on your head to get the lather going. This is a great hair care brand. The aloe hair mask is also fantastic. I knew I’d most likely love this, but got the sample size. Wish I just got the full size off the bat. It costs more but it will last and is one of the best out there. It also smells amazing, like a salon shampoo. The only other salt shampoo that’s better is Head Kandy but they stay sold out for months as a popular indie brand lol 😭

One of my hair care go to’s
I love using this scalp scrub. Every time I use it, my scalp feels clean and refreshed, never heavy or dry afterward, which is rare for a scrub. I’ve been using this brand for years, so finding it again on Amazon after it was discontinued at Sephora was genuinely exciting. I love the consistency of the product, and it lathers really well, so a little goes a long way you don’t need much when you wet it.

If you have oily hair, you must buy this. 👱♀️
Recently, my scalp felt itchy and dry even after washing my hair, so I tried this on a friend's recommendation. I really like it. After using it, my scalp feels less itchy and I feel like I'm losing less hair. However, my hair becomes very stiff after use, so you definitely need to use a treatment or conditioner. But highly recommended.

Amazing!
So I first received this product thru a subscription box, and I obviously just glanced at the jar before putting it in my shower. I love it! Hoarded it and hid it from my daughter's and hubby-made 1 jar last 6+ years. Just ordered another-and found out it is for your scalp. I have been using it as a body scrub. For 6 years. It lathers like a dream and my skin feels amazing. Am I embarrassed? Not really. Does it change how I will use it? No. Even ordered 1 for my co-worker & told her how I use it. She loves it as a body scrub.

Worth the price
I only wish this was cheaper. I discovered this product from a free sample and fell in love. It smells like a day at the beach. It suds up really well, so you only need a small amount. I used to get a greasy scalp, but not since I started using this product.

My hair has never felt this clean — total scalp reset!
I don’t usually write reviews, but this product truly deserves one. I picked up the Christophe Robin Sea Salt Scrub after seeing it recommended for people with oily roots and product buildup (which is definitely me). I was a bit hesitant because of the price, but wow — it’s worth every penny. The texture is thick and gritty, but it melts into a luxurious lather once it hits water. I was worried it might feel harsh, but it actually felt refreshing and super satisfying to massage into my scalp. It gives that deep-cleansing feeling I didn’t even realize my hair needed. After rinsing it out, my scalp felt squeaky clean — like all the dry shampoo, oils, and leftover styling products had finally been lifted. And my hair had way more volume at the roots the next day. I also noticed it stayed clean longer than usual, which was a nice bonus.

Great for an oily scalp.
I bought this for my husband who has an oily scalp (but very little hair) to give his scalp a deep clean. Just like others have said, a little goes a long way. The scent is not offensive in any way but is hard to describe. (Fresh, I’d say, if I had to choose one word). It is grainy due to the salts. And it does lather some. I saw that some people said it doesn’t but it just doesn’t lather like a normal shampoo. As far as it working as a purifying shampoo, I think it does the job. He’s using it as his every day shampoo. I tried it once as well (I have fine hair down to the middle of my back) and worked it in with a scalp scrubber and thought it worked nicely.

Does what it says
I really love this scrub! I originally found it at Sephora but they stopped carrying it so glad it is on Amazon. I use it maybe once a week and it removes product build up and leaves hair squeaky clean. It lasts a long time as you only need a little dab to emulsify in water.

Dissatisfied
A lot smaller tub than I was lead to believe from the ad. Disappointing.
