Great jars, lids may not be suitable for canninh

Love these jars but lids included may not be suitable for canning - the lids dented under the pressure while canning. Replaced with name brand lids and worked beautifully.

Needed these jars for BBQ Sauce and making several Extracts...Vanilla-Orange-and Lemon

The extracts seemed to leak when shaken and I just put a piece of plastic wrap over the jar and put the lid back on. Not leaking and the extracts are made with vodka. They have to be shaken several times during the week. I would buy these jar again in a heart beat.
