Fancy Buying Laptop Battery for HP Pavilion DV2000 DV2100 dv2200 dv2400 dv6000 dv6100 dv6300 dv6500 dv6700 Compaq Presario C700 Battery

My laptop started running really hot.... I realized it was the battery because the computer was only burning up when powered on, and plugged in. Just battery, no problem. Plugged in but off, no problem. But the battery, fully charged would only last about 45 minutes. I checked the original manufacturer and their replacement battery, while very fine, I am sure was really expensive compared to the offerings on Amazon. I bought one, it took me about 20 minutes to swap them out, and now my laptop runs good as new. Look for installation guidance from You Tube, not the manufacturer... almost nothing there. Anyway, a very satisfying purchase.

I thought my old Dell Latitude 630 power connection was bad.. the laptop would randomly shut down while on power, and the battery was low. Unplug and replug the power cord at the laptop and the battery charge light might come on (briefly), wiggle the connector, battery charge light would come on for a moment or couple minutes or two. Windows Power Monitor would show 'charging', battery charge never charged (sometimes read 100%, other times 13%, other times 0%, after turn on). Tried a different power cord, no change. About ready to retire the old laptop, but it occurred to me it might not be the plug, but the battery itself. Ordered the Fancy Buying replacement for $20, rec'd it 2 days later, and per the instructions, discharged it to 2%, then connected the power cord and the charging light came on immediately and steadily - charged back up to 100% in about 45 minutes. Not the laptop power plug at all, just a bad battery! And several other flaky things I attributed to the "old laptop" have gone away too. Apparently AC power is just barely able to support the computer by itself, a good battery is essential to cover momentary "peak power draws" (drive access, cpu fan etc.), even while connected to AC power.

Item was received within the dates scheduled, well packaged, and ready to install and activate. It was a perfect fit and is working well.

I bought a M5Y1K Laptop Battery 10.6 inch replacement for a Dell laptop. They claim it is a 40Wk battery, as stated and on the battery itself. Instructions state to let it drain to 2%, Not 0%, on the first use, then charge it to 100%. It came drained to 0%. I let it charge anyway, then checked the capacity through a battery report. The design capacity is 41,440 mWh, but the actual "full charge capacity" is 29,600 mWh. I returned it and ordered another. Same Exact results. A new battery should have the same or at least close to the same design and actual full charge capacity. I returned it again. I'm ordering from somewhere else. It's obviously manufactured that way. Ironic they have a picture claiming their batteries have the full advertised capacity while their competitors do not!

Cumple perfectamente con lo que promete. La instalé en mi Dell Inspiron y fue reconocida sin problemas desde el primer momento. La duración de la batería es bastante buena para el precio, permitiéndome trabajar varias horas sin tener que conectarla. Además, la calidad de construcción se siente sólida. Sin duda, una muy buena opción como reemplazo.
